Recently, it started getting worse.....and worse... and worst to the point where two days ago (12/22/2023) when I would get up from lying down, I couldn't even put weight on it, and had to sit down, and then gingerly get back to my feet and take the smallest baby steps, till I had to sit down again. All out of breath I FINALLY was able to start walking around again--still in a lot of pain. So I went into Back on Point Wellness (BOP) for a massage therapy session. I scheduled it with whoever had an opening--turned out it was Cindy. Many thanks to BOP (Angie and her wonderful staff) for getting me in. And the thing of it is I wasn't even really going in for my hip. WELL....LET ME TELL YOU.... ONE MASSAGE THEREAPY SESSION--THAT'S IT--ONE THERAPY SESSION with Cindy at BOP and I was immediately putting weight on my right hip with only nominal pain--certainly tolerable. Here's the kicker. At the beginning of the session with Cindy, when she asked if I had any particular issues going on today--and not coming in because of my right hip, I told Cindy my right hip was really bothering me. She said, Humm, I would have guessed it was your left hip because I can tell just by the way you lying down, whatever is going on is on the left side. And then Cindy said she could see that after she had worked on the left hip, the right hip mellowed out. (Cindy used much more medical technical terminology but I don't remember it all). Now, I'm getting up from a sound night sleep and able to put weight on my right side, and hardly feel anything. I can't believe one massage therapy session from Cindy at Back on Point Wellness, and I'm totally functional. I'm even considering cancelling my appointment with UCLA orthopedics I have scheduled for next week. Thank you so very very much, Cindy and BOP. Best deep tissue massage

Dr Kim has helped me quickly heal and recover from so many injuries over the years. He is kind, thoughtful and truly cares about my health and well being. Sometimes my sessions turn into therapy sessions. The whole staff is amazing! from the minute you walk in with the front office and including the massage and stretching therapists.

I was suffering from painful plantar fasciitis for several weeks. Even the slightest pressure on the ball of my right foot would cause immense sharp shooting pain and as a fitness coach & jiu jitsu practitioner, I had to find a remedy desperately. Dr Ernest had worked on my back before, but when I had mentioned my foot pain casually over IG, he invited to come in so that he can check my foot out. After some scanning, he customized a pair of orthotic shoe inserts for me. I was a bit skeptical to say the least. I waited a few days and the orthotics arrived for me to pick up. They provided immediate relief but the pain was still there. BUT, after consistently wearing them for 3 weeks (I’ve missed some days), my pain was completely gone! It’s hard to explain but I’ve been pain 100% pain free for over 8 months now! I no longer wear my inserts but I use them occasionally for my dress shoes and days I wanna feel taller :) So yes, I am so happy with Dr Ernest and I highly recommend him wholeheartedly! I went in to try to get a reset on my body after training for a triathlon. I was having tightness in my shoulders and back from the high volume swimming and cycling I was doing. I was feeling the wear and tear and tightness on my body. Dr Kim identified my pain points, stretched, and applied pressure and manipulation to my neck and shoulders and I felt immediate relief. He also adjusted my back and neck with a few amazing cracks!! I had seen this on TV or social media but was cynical and hesitant to try myself. He made me feel comfortable and safe as he talked me through it but also performed his work swiftly without much time to have any anxiety. I left loose as a goose and truly felt like my body had reset. I swam 1600m no issues and had a light run in the evening after my treatment and felt good as new afterwards. No tightness or aching. BONUS: at the end of the session, Dr Kim adjusted my ankle joints and I now have the ability to apply pressure on my right ball of my foot. I havent been able to do this in 10 years. I have an osteochondrial lesion from an old fracture (basketball injury) that was pressing on a tendon making it very painful to apply pressure or explode of my right foot. Ortho told me I had to live with it or get surgery to shave off the abnormal bone lesion plus 6 week recovery. I have been having low back, shoulder, neck injuries for a while from boxing🥊. As I consistently get treatment from Dr. Kim and Robert, I haven’t had any pain nor injuries since the treatments. I tore ligaments in my shoulder and he provided me with acupuncture, cupping and stretching that relieved so much pain and promoted healing. He suggested PRP treatments which I looked into with my Ortho, and he agreed it was a good alternative to surgery. With those injections and the rehabilitation I received from Dr Kim I made a full recovery and my shoulder feels 100%. After seeing Ernest Kim, turns out that's not true. After only a few moments, he immediately identified a nagging neck-shoulder injury (strained muscle) and started treatment. He walks you through the entire procedure which is both intense and gentle. I could literally feel my muscles relax as he engaged in the exercises. By the time he finished, my neck-and shoulder both felt like a huge weight has been lifted off of them, plus I have full range of motion. When I saw Dr. Kim for the first time, I was weak and very fragile and after one session with him, I started to feel some relief. The pins and needles were still there but I felt my muscles loosen up a bit. He gave me some stretches to do at home. I came back 2 days letter and we did more A.R.T. I definitely felt the stretch with ART. The next day, the pain in my neck down to my spine was completely gone. I went back for a third time in a few days for a follow-up and the pinched nerve was completely gone. WHAT A RELIEF it was!! I was so happy to be mobile again and to be back on my daily regimen of working out and daily normal activity without being frustrated by the pain getting in the way.
