I had experienced pain for almost 10 years now in my back and neck, there was this pinching ache on the back of my head. from time to time it would throb, I was interrupted in my daily routine by constant stretching and massaging, additionally having trouble falling asleep. Using a back roller helped but didn't fix the problem. I was in stage 1 of spinal degeneration; vertabrea in my lower back were jagged, I had some dissalignment in my neck and upper back. After my first adjustment, the pain on my head/neck and upper back area had ceased and I am seeing major improvments in overal function, energy, and mobility, I am now going through my workday without interruptions, and falling asleep faster. I’m sharing my story to tell everyone that not all doctors are created equal. I first met Dr. Godsey about 3 years ago at a dinner. We talked about my knee and a doctor who had recently advised me that I needed a total knee replacement. After what turned out to be a long discussion I decided to visit his office and get his opinion. The first thing he told me was that I simply didn’t “look” like I needed a total knee replacement. He offered to take an x-ray and look at the joint, which we did, and he didn’t look at the image for more than one second before he said, “Not only no, but hell no.” I still have my original knee. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. I called Dr. Godsey’s office because I had been having a strange pain in my leg. I had been experiencing this pain for 6-7 weeks and although I tried massage and foam rolling and “maybe it will just go away,” the truth was it was getting worse, not better. I went in to see Dr. Godsey and after a brief consult he decided to shoot an x-ray of my leg, pictured. After looking at it closely for a few mins, he pointed at a tiny spot on the film and said, “maybe right here… that looks like an anomaly that could be a type of benign bone tumor. However, we will need an MRI to accurately classify it.” He also reached out to a radiologist colleague of his for a second opinion and she concurred… there was something there. I agreed to the MRI and Dr. Godsey had the facility call me and schedule the MRI the following day. The same day that the MRI was completed, Dr. Godsey had the results and called me in to go over them. To both of our surprise, the radiology report said that the leg was completely normal! Dr. Godsey even called the radiologist who read the report to discuss it with him and his conclusion was, “I’m satisfied with my diagnosis, and a 3-T MRI doesn’t lie.” When I asked Dr. Godsey what his opinion was he still said, “I think you’ve got a bone tumor.” So the next step came from my PCP. She asked me to consult with an orthopedic surgeon of her choosing. After that consult I called Dr. Godsey and explained that the ortho diagnosed it as severe tendonitis. When I asked him what his opinion was he still said, “I think you’ve got a bone tumor.” So, this led to a search for an orthopedic surgeon who specialized in bone tumors. Which I found in Dr. Cynthia Kelly and I cannot recommend her highly enough! After a consult with Dr. Kelly she looked at the x-ray that Dr. Godsey had taken, measured it, and went straight to the point on my leg that corresponded to the lesion on the x-ray, touched it, and said, “right there?” I about came off the table! “Yes! That’s it.” After reviewing the MRI she concluded that indeed it was a bone tumor and that it was very tiny and therefore caught very early. It’s being removed this coming week. I said all this to say, thank you, to Dr. Godsey for taking my symptoms seriously and for taking the time to be thorough in his work, and last but not least for standing up against a radiologist and an orthopedic surgeon who disagreed with his diagnosis. I don’t know what your personal feeling is about chiropractors, but I can tell you from my experience that all doctors are not created equal and Dr. Godsey is the kind of doctor you want watching over your health. He genuinely cares about his patients and is extremely knowledgable. He has told me on multiple occasions that if I have a question about ANY health concern to contact him and if he can’t take care of it himself, he will find the right person who can. Less

I had pain in my hip that I was convinced was just part of getting older and I was stuck with. After a couple months of treatment, the pain is completely gone and I actually forgot about it until I realized it wasn’t keeping me awake anymore. Very grateful for my experience!

I met Dr. Scott through Networking (Douglas County Divas) as he was growing his business. I found him very personable and able to communicate very well so I wanted to give him a try. Only was able to have a couple appointments before moving back north but Dr. Scott was amazing to talk to, made you feel comfortable, and was just all around a wonderful experience.

This place is awesome. Very high end and great prices. The customer service is great and the treatment is even better. Here they customize treatment plans for every issue you can think of. I love that he did x-rays so he knew exactly what was going on internally and how to treat it. In just one session I had already noticed a difference and felt better.

I have now received 6 treatments and my back and neck feel much better. The environment is welcoming and all services are timely. I highly recommend.
