The staff and Dr McGee are great. They care about you, your not just another face. I've been in a great deal of back, neck and leg pain for many yrs, and they are doing everything to help.

Everyone was friendly and i liked the fact that they had a system for gathering information and it was so organized. Nina was outstanding, friendly an efficient. I really liked that.

A battle not just to live longer, but a battle to have any kind of quality in my life. I did everything in my power to work on my health. I lost weight and controlled my blood sugars. But I couldn’t have done it without Chiropractic care. Regular Chiropractor care reduced my pain and allowed me to get moving and stay moving. Now, most days are relatively pain free. I usually walk more than 10,000 steps a day and as many as 20,000 in a day. My future goal is to increase my steps to 12,000 to 24,000 steps a day. I heard about Huntsville Physical Medicine Institute from my husband who had been referred there to obtain chiropractic services for his back pain. I, too, have been suffering with severe lower back pain, neck pain, and knee pain. My husband suggested that I go to HPMI for a consultation. That was almost a year ago. In my efforts to stay in shape my subluxations I didn’t even know I had finally got the best of me. I went from working out daily to barely being able to sit down or lay down for more than a couple minutes at a time. As the pain worsened, I finally decided to go to the doctor. My doctor gave me very heavy pain medication and suggested seeing a specialist about possible surgery for my two herniated discs. At my age I was not willing to go through surgery and recovery. I have seen countless friends undergo back surgery and come out just as bad as they went in our even worse. So I decided to take the medication to curb the pain until I could figure out what to do. I was desperate for a solution and starting down a path of depression because I could not find any other solution to my problem without surgery. I began asking friends, family and anyone I encountered if they had any advice, if they ever had back pain and if they had found any relief or solutions. After months of inquiring I spoke to a friend who told me about Dr. Peter. He proceeded to tell me that he was in the same situation a year ago and Dr. Peter was able to get him off pain medication and because of the personalized plan they created for him, was able to avoid having surgery to correct his problem. Curious, I scheduled another appointment with my doctor to discuss chiropractic care and any other options. I couldn’t keep taking the pain meds as I knew we would be having a baby any day and I couldn’t be driving my wife and unborn child to the hospital high on pain medication. I got an answer from my doctor I did not expect “I do not recommend any kind of treatment that manipulates the spine” which I thought was strange because in the same breath he said we had exhausted all our options and it was time to look into surgery. My mind did flips…. He was ok sending me into surgery and perform an irreversible procedure but was not ok with me going to adjust my spine to see if I was out of alignment. Needless to say, his statement that there were no other options to consider pushed me to schedule the appointment with Dr. Peter. My first appointment with Dr. Peter was a blur to be honest. I was still in a tremendous amount of pain and was just praying for relief. I can tell you that for the first time in almost two months after my first adjustment I could stand, sit and lay down with NO pain at all! That only lasted for about an hour before the pain came back, but I finally had some relief and renewed since of hope for a solution, not just a temporary fix. Dr. Peter and his incredible staff devised a plan for me and I was all in. Over the next couple weeks my pain decreased drastically. I was no longer taking any kind of pain medication and I was able to drive my wife to the hospital safely and hold my new baby girl when she was born. Without doctor Peter, I know that I would still be in pain and miserable. I will be forever grateful that I was able to fully experience welcoming my little girl into the world without the distraction of my back pain. I feel strongly in exhausting all options before turning to surgery. My oldest spent months on antibiotics, and we were at the point we were going to have to get him tubes. A friend of mine that is a Physician Assistant mentioned that Chiropractic care had helped kids in the past. My husband and I feeling that we were running out of options chose to give chiropractic care a chance. We arrived at our first appointment and immediately felt at home. After a thorough assessment, Dr. Peter adjusted our son, and we left the office. (We commute 35 - 40 minutes to the office). On our way home, we noticed that our child that had spoken very little in 3 months was a chatterbox. Once we went home, our son was racing around the house and bouncing off the furniture and appeared to be happier than we had seen him in MONTHS!!!. We returned to Dr. Peter for a few more appointments over the course of two weeks. In the third week, we returned to our Pediatrician with a follow-up at the ENT. Both doctors agreed that we were NO LONGER candidates for tubes as there was no evidence of ear infections. My son has not had a return ear infection in 5 years. At three months of age, my second son was diagnosed with GERD, which resulted in Colic's horrific bouts. We took him in for an exam and adjustment. From that day further, we went from 6 plus hours of screaming a day to less than an hour! At six months of age, he started suffering from ear infections as well (neither boy's Eustachian tube was draining properly). Under the advice of the Pediatrician and the ENT, we started antibiotics. My son had eight back to back rounds of antibiotics (54 solid days) with minimal relief. The ENT said we had to get tubes before our son suffered permanent hearing loss. We started treatment with Dr. Peter for ear infections with the second child at that point (I'm not sure why we waited. GRRR). Within two weeks, we were ear infection free and once again no longer candidates for tubes. My son goes to the chiropractor weekly with me now. He INSISTS that Dr. Peter sees him whether he needs an adjustment or not. He loves our Huntsville days, and his Mrs. Tracey. He will jump out of the car and march straight into Dr. Peters's office while we are still getting out of the car. He was not aggressive enough on his adjustments to realign my stubborn spine, and the adjustments he did do did not leave me feeling relieved and satisfied enough, to make it until my next visit. In the beginning it felt great because my spine had never been adjusted and the relief came as a great surprise but as time went on, the pain kept coming back and I wasn’t getting the relief I needed or wanted. He holds seminars every so often to sell his agenda ( a Kevin Trudeau type). I ended up having more back and neck pain more often from his adjustments not being done correctly to ease my pain. I found another local chiropractor who I can visit less often for less money who listens to his patients and knows exactly what to do without all the extra riff raff. I can go whenever I want and it usually only costs like $20 or less for most visits. They file it on my insurance correctly. Not to mention, unlike dr Peter, when I went to my new chiropractor in pain, he examined me, felt my spine and noticed the problem areas and got me adjusted the first day. This was like 3 years ago. And I still go every so often. Matter of fact, after writing this review I need to call him this next week and get another appointment for an adjustment. I had migraine headaches from the time I was 9 years old. I started my chiropractic care 6 1/2 years ago . After 2 weeks of care Dr. Greg ask me " how are your headaches?'. I had not and have not had a headache since the adjustments started. I wish I had met a Chiropractor like him years ago. I can now live my life without the daily worry of a headache.

Look elsewhere, this place is pretty unsanitary and ridicolously unprofessional, I felt like he was used to giving speeches to illiterate people or 2 year olds.
