The staff is was super welcoming and helpful. Dr. Salminen was able to get my X-Rays quickly and used those films for my care that same day. My neck improved significantly after just one visit without any of the high force adjustments. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been receiving care from Alpha Spine Center for almost 2 years now. The doc and staff are wonderful, but what they have done to improve my quality of life is even better. I had an accident 10 years ago that caused a lot of damage to my neck and I also incurred a tail bone injury in college. A couple of years ago these injuries began to disrupt my daily activities. I love sports and am very active, but due to the injuries, I was having extreme discomfort after only running half a mile and continually had to give up my workouts. When I started having tingling in my extremities, a frozen neck that wouldn’t turn, and difficulty falling asleep due to the pain, I knew that I couldn’t continue to live this way and so I went to ASC. After only about 6 months of receiving care I was able to run a 10k without any issues. Dr. Salminen is so gifted. I have Sjogren’s w/ small fiber neuropathy and for some reason it affects my neck the most. I am not one to share reviews, although I often rely on others’ before making a decision. HOWEVER, this place right here is changing my life! Pain is something that can effect your mood, lifestyle and unfortunately, something I settled for in my mid-20s. I was diagnosed with spondylolysis in high school (gymnastics injury), underwent hip surgery at 27 (labral tear due to FAI), and began having terrible neck spasms about 2 yrs ago that could not be helped by injections, traction, oils, etc. Someone I highly respect recommended Dr. Salminen about a year ago. After trying what seemed like everything else, I finally scheduled an appointment. I was highly skeptical, quizzing him and other patients in the recovery room... I was literally trying to prove them wrong. I first came to Alpha Spine in 2012 after my car was totaled when I was rear ended and I got whiplash . Dr Salminen was very caring and professional and had me in much better shape in no time...from the very first adjustment I felt better. I have been going to Dr. Salminen since June of 2016. In May of 2015 I got into a car accident. My doctor said I was fine and did not need x-rays or anything. I'm a runner, and a couple of months after the accident I started having a lot of pain while running. Mostly in my hip. I ended up having x-rays, an mri and several doctor visits, but no one could help me. The pain kept getting worse. I was running maybe once a month and exercising only a couple of times a week until May of 2016 when I could no longer do either. It was painful to walk and even to sleep. I had put off going to Alpha Spine Center, because honestly, I was nervous and didn't really think they could help. But I finally decided to give them a try in June. I have never once regretted that decision. Dr. Salminen knew immediately what the problem was. It was definitely from my accident and because of how long it had been, the problem kept getting worse. I had a reverse curve in my neck and scoliosis in my back. And something similar to a dislocation in my hip. He started treatment that day. He was always very gentle and told me exactly what he was doing. I was freaking out a lot the first few weeks but anytime that I had a question, I could call and they would always help me. The entire staff is amazing!! After a few months of treatment, my scoliosis went away and my neck was improving each visit until it is now almost perfect. I'm back to running and exercising without any pain. I feel better than I ever have!! I even ran my first race in over a year and placed second in my age group! I'm able to do exercises that I was never able to do before. I'm able to place my hands behind my head with my elbows out to the side, which is a first for me. Dr. Salminen knew right away what was going on with me was not "normal"...because he gets to know his patients! I immediately had scans and x-rays (yes, that day!) and he was able to determine what the problem was. He adjusted me and gave me clear, concise instructions on how to manage my pain until he saw me again. Although I did not feel 100% the next day (yes, you read right...the next day), I was able to walk which was something I could not do the day before. Each day got better and better. Now, almost two weeks after my initial injury I feel better than 100%. Now he has me doing strategic exercises to strengthen areas of my body that have become weak (thus prone to injury).
