From my first visit to my last appointment, coming up next week, I have felt very comfortable with the work Dr. Babin has done. I am now 7 months pregnant with my 3rd baby and originally made the appoint for pain in my right shoulder. My muscles had hardened around the base of the neck/shoulder and it made turning my head impossible. I would need to turn my whole body to look both ways while driving. This issue had caused other problems down the back. Over the past 5 months Dr Babin addressed all theses issues. I have been amazed at the results. About 2 months into treatment I felt so much better. Dr Babin gave me the confidence to start walking 2m everyday! And Lifting light weight! Which has helped make this pregnancy a breeze. The left side of my jaw had been painful for several months and problems with my teeth had been ruled out, so I knew it was TMJ and arthritis in my jaw joint. My brother suggested Via Vitae. Wow, how amazing was this experience. Dr. Babin, at least for me, focused on the neck and alignment and balance. He came in on a day off of work just to care for me and spent over an hour with me doing x-rays and then slight adjustments to my neck. I thought to myself, this is not going to work and I just wasted time with this, but boy was I wrong. He was 100% right. My back issues stemmed from my neck and as he explained it the compensation my body and eyes were doing to stay aligned an balanced. The next day I was moving well and two days later I was just a bit off and then the third day I was without any pain. I wondered if I was going to be able to enjoy my retirement at all or just spend the rest of my life seated somewhere watching TV. My wife and I heard about this practice from a friend so we decided to give it a try for the both of us. After about two months of treatments this chiropractor not only was able to eliminate 90% of my pain thus keeping me out of the hospital and away from surgery but has enabled me to live my life pretty much as I please again. My wife has also had simular results with her upper back and shoulders. I cannot say enough about how knowledgeable and truly caring doctor Babin is. He is always willing to spend as much time with me as I wish to discuss any questions I have, provide me with exercise information that will help me enjoy a better quality of life. In closing I feel If all physicians in this country had the same level of knowledge and caring attitude about their patients as Dr. Babin health care in the United States would be significantly better. Dr. Babin and his wife are very genuine and pleasant people. They came to my office to speak about Chiropractic and how it could help with different problems.
