I thought I would share my experience with Trevor. I decided to gift a boudoir photo album with Provocateur to my husband as a present for our wedding day. At our shoot, I asked him if he could edit out a small tattoo that I no longer like, and he confirmed and said it would not a problem. Again, when we reviewed our photos together virtually weeks after the shoot, he asked if I wanted anything, I reminded him that I wanted the tattoo edited out of the photos, he reconfirmed, saying that it was a non-issue. I paid the remaining thousands of dollars for my shoot in full and waited for the photos. When I received the photos virtually, I noticed that many of the pictures still had the tattoo in them. Whoever edited and reviewed the photos missed the tattoo multiple times. I brought this to Trevor’s attention via email. Weeks later, I received the printed photo album. Multiple photos still included the tattoo, even though I had already brought it to Trevor’s attention multiple times. I brought the errors to his attention again, waited to hear back, heard nothing, followed up a yet again, and a week later received an email response. Trevor said he “forgot to respond earlier”. He said that he had “already communicated with me that the images had gone into production” aka, that they were printed. This was an unnecessary lie, I have no emails or phone calls from Trevor stating this. There was no communication. I am totally reasonable with mistakes, but I followed up multiple times and was ignored and then lied to. He lied, did not take any ownership of his oversights, and then did not offer any recourse whatsoever. The female empowerment, safe space talk that he claims he stands for is an insincere marketing gimmick.This experience really took away from a photo album that was supposed to be fun and exciting for both my husband and I. He made me feel really comfortable and confident and we were able to capture some key shots that I wanted. All was great until I got my printed book. The book itself looks beautiful, however the edits that we had made during the photo viewing session unfortunately didn't translate to two pictures in the book which unfortunately really bothered me. I spoke with Trevor about one and while we couldn't understand why the edits didn't save for printing on one of the images, there was another image with the same issue in the book. After spending the amount that I had, there was no possible way for me to reprint those images and thus I am now left with a product which isn't 100%. I guess this maybe a one off incident and honestly if I had the money I would do it again cause he is so amazing and talented!! Less

Emily, the wonderful hair and make up artist, had me looking like a million bucks - which after 6+ months of working from home in my "athleisure wear" - was a treat in and of itself! (Thanks Emily!) Trevor is the epitome of professionalism, and provides the perfect amount of direction to make you feel comfortable and confident. Before you get to your session, Trevor sets up several consultations for wardrobe, etc. so all questions can be answered before you even step foot in the studio - making sure there are no surprises and allowing you to completely relax and enjoy the experience. Trevor told me he has a lot of repeat clients, and I can certainly see why. My husband and I just had an amazing experience having a couples photo session with Provocateur Images Boudoir. The whole experience was professional and fun. Before we went to the shoot the photographer (Trever) had a phone conversation to ensure we had the best wardrobe and understanding of the photoshoot. On the day of the photoshoot everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The makeup artist/ hairdresser did the exact look that I wanted for the photoshoot. I feel that a boudoir shoot is a fast track to loving your body, seeing the beauty in yourself, feeling confident and embracing your sensuality. (Not that this post is about your significant other but DAMN, what if you showed up to your relationship with all that self-worth and confidence? Whew, talk about being attractive to your partner!) I guess you could call me experienced, seasoned, even a veteran with 8 years of boudoir modeling experience. My photo shoot with Trevor is my 10th shoot! From a wedding gift to my husband in 2010 to a sizzling couple's shoot to several photographers' boudoir portfolio building sessions to gifts to myself...these photo shoots were all meaningful & empowering. It's kind of an addiction but a healthy obsession! Trevor is your happy pill, sedative and pheromone-booster all-in-one with his explicit directions on how to pose (ladies, he practices what he preaches! Which means he demonstrates by literally getting on his hands & knees & elbows, you name it!) When assistance is appreciated he's also a master at fastening garters and straightening stockings. I really valued how Trevor, in his efforts to create authentic emotion, thoroughly explained the different facial expressions of seduction, desire, flirtation and dominance as well as body language in order to cultivate sensuality and sex appeal. I loved how Trevor would stop every so often to show me a raw image he had just captured on his camera so I could see for myself how great I looked. Encouragement and positive feedback/reinforcement is Trevor's guiding style throughout the shoot. I would be remiss if I didn't mention what an incredible job Trevor's HMUA, Jen, did in creating a stunning look. Her skills, professionalism, style, creativity and personality are all exceptional. From her warm welcome to finishing with the setting spray she was amazing. Jen was also a fun, confident and supportive collaboration with Trevor in aligning their vision together regarding colour and mood. Simply put, she enhanced my natural beauty into a polished femme fatale look perfect for the boudoir and a night out on the town post shoot. The same day "reveal” viewing of my images was the most challenging aspect to my afternoon. I had a difficult time selecting my final twenty. I appreciated Trevor's input as we compared and contrasted similar images. It was a chance to sit in the relaxed ambience of the studio and bask in my glory of a rock star session. Honestly, there wasn’t a single image that didn't belong in my faves folder or my likes file. And, they weren’t even artistically edited yet! Do I need to say anything more? Throw all your excuses out the window and get your "boudie" on! There isn't any reason why you shouldn't enjoy this once in a lifetime experience. Trevor was extremely accommodating with incorporating a Yennefer cosplay into the session and gave phenomenal advice during the consultation. Being able to incorporate cosplay into the shoot somehow made me even more excited about the experience than I was already! I usually only feel powerful when I'm in full cosplay and under the skin of a fictional character, but this session made me feel powerful as me. The experience was a blast and the pictures I've seen so far have been stunning. I thought I'd be shaking in my boots the day before, the day of, and the day after, but instead my partner commented on how I seemed a lot happier after coming home. (Usually something only a very intense therapy session can achieve) I had an amazing time during my shoot and I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures at the reveal! Self love did not happen overnight for me.When I arrived it was amazing !! Champagne, hair & makeup and girl talk. And then it was time for the photo shoot. Putting yourself out there and dressing sexy in front of someone you barely know sounds super intimidating, but Trevor made me feel like we had always been friends, he was professional, funny and so helpful, which made me feel more relaxed and confident. I would have to say it was one of the best experiences of my life. It empowered me. When I saw the pictures I was in shock. That was me and I felt proud of the confident women I have learned to love and celebrate. When I talk about the experience with others I get choked up because it really was a special experience that was just for me. I think every women should have an experience like this. I thought I would be nervous, but it almost felt like my 9-5 job when I got there. Trevor made me feel so comfortable, like I was born to do boudoir. The moment the camera came out, it was almost like an out-of-body experience. Suddenly, I transformed into a boudoir model. I don't know where the sass and sensuality came from, but Trevor brought that out in me for the photos. Some say I'm long, lanky, and awkward as hell -- but Trevor made me feel as if I had been modelling for years and highlighted my features beautifully. The photo reveal was another out-of-body experience. It felt as if I was looking at someone else, and Trevor had to keep reminding me that the girl I kept referring to in 3rd person was me. It was such an incredible feeling -- I felt both beautiful and desirable. When I gave the book to my partner, he was shocked. He couldn't believe both the quality of the book and the images while knowing that I was the star of them. For him, he felt so proud knowing that I was his partner and shocked that I even did something like that for his birthday. From getting hair and makeup professionally done, to posing along to your favourite playlist, I had such a blast. It didn’t take long before Trevor’s encouragement and positive feedback put me at ease and allowed me to feel totally comfortable while shooting such an intimate session. When the rest of my photos were unveiled I was even more in shock. They were absolutely breath taking and I wanted to cry. It’s amazing the power shadows have and how Trevor can work with them. I was suddenly faced with the hard choice of whether or not I could actually give this to my man as I wanted it for myself haha, but alas I gave him the present I worked so hard to get. It was getting harder and harder to come up with reasons of why I was so happy. I just couldn’t stop smiling when I thought of my photos. When it finally came around to our anniversary I got butterflies again, but they went away as soon as he opened his eyes and saw. He had no idea I was going to do this for our anniversary and when he saw the book and opened it he was speechless, surprised and couldn’t believe I would have done this. He even said that I’m pretty shy so he would have never expected this in a million years. It’s a one of a kind gift that he truly loved. Heck he didn't even finish going through the book, 4 pages in and he dropped album and jumped me. Best feeling ever ;) If this is something you’ve been thinking of doing I highly recommend it!
