Client Engagement Letter
Dear Client:
Thank you for choosing Fresh Start Business Service for your tax preparation needs. This letter confirms the terms of our engagement and the services we will provide.
1. Services Provided: We will prepare your federal and state income tax returns for the tax year that you inquire about based on the information you provide.
2. Client Responsibilities: It is your responsibility to provide all required information that is necessary for the preparation of accurate tax returns. This includes, but is not limited to, all income statements, deduction details, and relevant financial documents. It is also your responsibility to maintain all documents, books, and records supporting the accuracy of your tax returns. These documents should be retained for at least seven years to comply with tax authority requirements. It is your responsibility to review the returns, including associated fees, for accuracy and completeness before filing.
