Jury Review Instructions

Please review the applicant’s work carefully before submitting your evaluation.

Each applicant should be assessed holistically using the jury guidelines provided. Consider the overall strength of the work, including drawing ability, composition, color harmony, use of light and value, and emotional impact or originality. For sculpture, consider design, form, craftsmanship, and overall aesthetic quality.

After reviewing the work, assign one overall score from 1 to 7, where:

• 1 = (Below standard)

• 4 = (Meets expectations)

• 7 = (Exceptional quality)

This score should reflect your overall impression of the applicant’s artistic ability and readiness for membership.
