After submitting this form, a member of our Education or Operations team will contact you to finalize your field trip reservation and programming. Please note that completing this form does not guarantee a reservation but marks the beginning of our planning process.

To ensure the best possible experience, we kindly request a minimum of two weeks' notice prior to your desired field trip date.

K-2nd: 1 free chaperone per 5 students - $10.00 per student
3rd-8th: 1 free chaperone per 10 students - $10.00 per student
9th-12th: 1 free chaperone per 10 students - $10.00 per student
Teachers remain free within these guidelines; additional teachers accrue additional donation cost of $20.00 per chaperone.

Curriculum Information

Select one of the appropriate grade level activities for your field trip experience *

Owl Anatomy and Life Cycle: Students will imagine themselves as Raptor Biologists as they explore characteristics of owls and learn what makes them a bird of prey. (K-3)

Build-a-Bird: Students step into the role of Avian Biologist to discover/create a brand-new bird species. Selecting different wings, beak, tails, and feet, students will color their bird and identify its habitat, diet, and name. (K-5)

Eagle 101: Students will explore the life of the Bald Eagle through interactive activities focused on habitat, diet, and life cycle. The lesson also shares the story of Challenger the Bald Eagle to highlight wildlife conservation. (K-5)

Beaks and Superpowers: Students learn how different bird senses and abilities are specialized to their diets and behavior through fun, hands-on activities (K-8)

Raptor Olympics: Are you faster than a peregrine falcon? Smarter than a raven? Test your speed, strength, and skills against some of the record-holding "Olympians" of the raptor world! (K-8)

Owl Pellet Dissection: During this activity, students will dissect owl pellets, use a dichotomous key to identify prey bones, and explore what owls eat and their role in the food web. They’ll learn how owls help recycle matter in ecosystems and discover the difference between instinctive hunting behaviors and learned responses. (4-12)

The Magic of Flight: In this activity, students will explore how raptors fly, learning how wing shape, air movement, and physics help them soar and hunt efficiently. They’ll discover how raptors conserve energy, why flight styles differ, and how principles like Bernoulli’s affect the way birds of prey glide through the air. (6-12)
