Please select type of animal (noting two (2) pets only are permitted):

(a) You must not, except with the Body Corporate's consent, keep or bring into your Lot or Common Property any animal (other than fish in a fish tank) unless it is a guide, hearing or assistance dog and you have a statutory right to have the dog in the Scheme land.

(b) From the date of the first annual general meeting, the Body Corporate must not approve:

(i) more than one cat or dog; or

(ii) a dog that will normally grow larger than 20 kilos.

(c) The Body Corporate can withdraw the consent for an animal if the animal is a nuisance or if you breach by-law 2.13

(d) If you keep an animal in your Lot then:

(i) you must ensure that the animal is not a nuisance, if it is a dog then being a nuisance includes barking and being aggressive;

(ii) you must ensure that the animal does not wander on the common property and it must be carried when outside your Lot, however, if it is unreasonable to expect you to carry your animal because of any physical disability or frailty then the Body Corporate must consent to you using a leash when moving a dog over Common Property;
