Tafsīr al-Jalalayn is one of the most widely studied works of Qur’anic exegesis in the Islamic tradition. This course offers an advanced-level guided reading with detailed commentary by Mufti Wahaajuddin Mohammed.
Please note: Registration does not guarantee admission. All applications will be reviewed to ensure individuals meet the prerequisites for this advanced class.
About the Instructor:
Mufti Wahaajuddin Mohammed memorized the Qur’an at the Institute of Islamic Education, completed his ʿĀlimiyyah in the U.S., and earned formal authorizations to teach the major collections of hadith and tafsīr. He completed his Takhassus fil Iftāʾ at Jamia Ashrafia Lahore, receiving the title of Mufti.
He currently serves as Co-Imam and Educational Director at the Tawheed Center (MI), Associate Mufti at Darul Iftaa Canada, and lecturer in tafsīr, fiqh, and hadith at multiple institutes. He has taught major works including Quduri, Hidayah, Usul al-Shashi, and Tafsīr al-Jalalayn
