I understand that I am required to have any supporting documentation to validate the information provided. I understand that by knowingly providing false information on my tax return and reporting it to the IRS, I am engaging in an illegal situation and is therefore punishable by law. I waive VIVID MULTISERVICES LLC, and the tax preparer of any incorrect information provided by me. By signing below, I authorize VIVID MULTISERVICES LLC, to file my tax return. Dear TAXPAYER, Thank you for the opportunity to work with you on your tax return preparation. To foster a full understanding of our relationship, please take a moment to review the following information. We will prepare your income tax returns based solely on the information you provide us. Once your tax returns are complete, we will deliver a true copy (on paper) of what we have sent to the IRS, in the same way we will upload to your Customer Portal, all the documents you provided us so that you can have them in one place sure. WE NEVER STAY WITH ORIGINAL DOCUMENTATION, IT IS THE POLICY OF THE COMPANY TO MAKE COPIES AND WORK WITH THEM, SO THAT THE ORIGINALS ALWAYS REMAIN FOR THE TAXPAYER, however, you must keep all the documents, canceled checks and other data that form the base of income and deductions and other tax return forms, calendars, elections and disclosures. Such documents include, but are not limited to, adequate records to support deductions claimed for meals, entertainment, travel, business gifts, charitable contributions, and vehicle use (if applicable), as well as bank and credit card statements. These records will be necessary to demonstrate the accuracy and completeness of the returns to tax authorities, should your returns be selected for an audit. We cannot be counted on to defraud your income tax returns to reveal errors, irregularities, or illegal acts, including, but not limited to, fraud that may exist in the documents or figures you provide. We will use our professional judgment to resolve questions where the tax law is unclear or where there may be conflicts between the tax authority's interpretations of tax law and other compatible positions. Unless you direct us to do so, we will take a tax position in your favor whenever it is reasonable. We cannot guarantee that the tax positions adopted will not be challenged or guarantee the final result of such a challenge. In addition, we cannot be responsible for problems arising from any income, expense, or other information not provided to us at tax time or prior to the filing of your returns. Please note that this commitment and the services of this firm include, but are not limited to, services related to general and annual income tax. Unless specifically requested by you and agreed to in writing, we do not provide any services related to payroll tax, sales tax, excise tax, and real estate or personal property tax. We also cannot be relied on to determine or report your compliance, or lack thereof, with any federal, state, or local law relating to business, health care or human resource regulations, retirement plan compliance, or any business, property, or professional permission. It is company policy not to release tax returns or any tax-related reports, schedules, information, advice or notes without full payment, unless you choose the bank product while there is a possibility of a refund. If a situation arises where services were rendered but payment was not received and our firm is compelled or chooses to seek legal assistance to collect fees owed to us, please note that you may be required to reimburse our firm. legal costs to collect any outstanding balance owed. Because we understand that cost is an important issue for many clients, we will do our best to provide you with an estimate of our fees prior to completing your statements, but please understand that circumstances arise that may increase or decrease your fee estimate. We will contact you if such a situation arises after receiving a quote. Upon completion of your returns and after you have paid your tax preparation fees, we will provide you with a copy of your returns, as well as electronic file signature authorizations and any applicable proof of payment to complete your tax return. You should carefully review the full statements. If you see anything that requires changes, please let us know immediately and we will explain the matter to you or promptly correct it and provide you with new, corrected copies. If you are satisfied with the statements and see no problem, please sign and date the electronic file signature releases and return them to this office immediately. Upon completion of your returns and after you have paid your tax preparation fees, we will provide you with a copy of your returns, as well as electronic file signature authorizations and any applicable proof of payment to complete your tax return. You should carefully review the full statements. If you see anything that requires changes, please let us know immediately and we will explain the matter to you or promptly correct it and provide you with new, corrected copies. If you are satisfied with the statements and see no problem, please sign and date the electronic file signature releases and return them to this office immediately. Please note that all tax authorities prohibit us from transmitting your tax returns without your signed authorization. Please also note that if your returns cannot be filed electronically, we will provide paper copies for you to sign and mail to tax authorities. By signing this pledge, you agree to compensate VIVID MULTISERVICES LLC for the services you have requested. In the event you end the engagement prior to completing your tax accounting work, VIVID MULTISERVICES LLC, reserves the right to bill you for any out-of-pocket expenses, time at our hourly rate, or other expenses incurred during this engagement. If you sought in-person consultation services, received counseling services by phone or email, sought representation work, or received any tax accounting services, by signing this commitment letter, you agree to compensate VIVID MULTISERVICES LLC, for these services, even if canceled the engagement. before our firm completes the work requested or required. Please note that if you receive any correspondence from a tax authority regarding a tax return prepared by this company, we would be happy to discuss this issue with you. Included in the cost of your tax preparation is 120 minutes of correspondence work per tax year at no additional charge. During those 120 minutes we will assess your situation and advise you of the course of action we believe is best to take. If we can also draft and send a response to the appropriate tax authority, we certainly will. If the issue or issue will involve more than 120 minutes of work, each additional hour (or fraction thereof) will be billed at the standard hourly rate of one hundred ($100) per hour of 60 minutes. Where possible, we will do our best to let you know if we think your issue will take longer than 120 minutes to resolve; however, there may be a situation where we cannot tell you in advance. Even if we are unable to inform you, the above standard hourly rate will apply and will be paid upon completion of this work. At any point in the process, you may choose to have us stop working on your correspondence, but we will request such a request in writing with your name and signature included. If, during the course of this work, it becomes apparent that the correspondence received was due to an error or omission by this office, no charge will be made for the handling of the correspondence, regardless of the time involved. Please note that except where our office is deemed to be at fault, a flat $90 handling fee will be charged for all matters where our assistance is requested in handling such correspondence from any authority fiscal. This fee is not included in your annual tax preparation fees and is paid upon completion of our work on such correspondence. VIVID MULTISERVICES LLC takes your privacy and personal information very seriously. We will take steps to safeguard that information and will never sell or disclose that information to anyone outside of the company for any reason. Please note that while we will protect your confidential information, our company will, from time to time, need to use some of your information for internal purposes not directly related to current year tax preparation. An example of this use would be sending a newsletter or Christmas card to your confidential address, or perhaps a personal phone call to wish you or a family member greetings or a happy birthday. By signing this letter, you agree to allow our staff limited access to your information for informal situations not related to tax preparation. Please also note that in an effort to help combat the growing threat of identity theft and to ensure that the returns filed by our firm are accurate, true, and belong to the proper client or taxpayer, VIVID MULTISERVICES LLC, reserves the right to request , as a condition of our provision of services, certain documents to verify your identity and the identity of others that you may include in your tax returns. This is for your protection and the protection of your spouse and/or dependents and these documents will be safeguarded to the best of our ability and in accordance with our document protection procedures. Such documents requested by our firm may include, among others; government-issued photo identification, social security cards, birth or visa certificates, and immigration-related documents. If you agree to the terms of our commitment as outlined in this letter, please sign below.
