The Performance Validation Project Manager (PV PM) is the operational owner of all Performance Validation offers inside the agency. They oversee the full lifecycle of a PV from onboarding → setup → creative development → testing → weekly reporting → SAP delivery → handoff to the Scaling Team.

The PV PM ensures every PV runs smoothly, on schedule, fully tracked, and fully executed, with flawless communication to partners and alignment across internal teams: Media Buyers, Creative Strategists, Director of Performance, Head of Partnerships, UGC creators, and tracking/tech support.

This role exists to make PVs repeatable, predictable, and operationally airtight, so the agency can run 3–5 PVs per month without chaos, delays, or loss of visibility.


The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with a client-first mindset and an ability to coordinate across teams in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Reports to: Director of Performance

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Partner Onboarding & Kickoff

  • Run the full On-Boarding Template (Monday board) end-to-end:

    • Payment, dossier, UGC setup, content tracking, creative dev,

      ad access, tracking tools (EF/SD/Hyros), funnel stats,

      Slack Connect, G-Drive setup, test purchase, KPI confirmation.

  • Schedule and lead the Intro Call.

  • Identify special requirements:

    • State restrictions

    • Compliance sensitivities

    • Offer constraints

  • Ensure partner expectations are aligned with the PV process.

2. PV Timeline Management (4–6 Weeks)

  • Build a PV timeline, deadlines, and weekly reporting cadence.

  • Ensure:

    • UGC creators deliver on schedule

    • Creative Strategist produces briefs + variations

    • PV Media Buyer meets minimum test thresholds

    • Tracking is working prior to launch

  • Hold all stakeholders accountable to timelines and deliverables.

3. PV Test Execution Coordination

The PV PM ensures the PV Media Buyer tests all required minimums:

Creative Tests

  • 15 video assets
    (12 UGC core videos + variations)

  • 20 static images

  • 10 messaging angle tests (copy variations)

Audience Tests

  • 3–5 distinct audience groups (LALs, Interests, Broad)

The PV PM ensures all assets and tests are:

  • Uploaded

  • Named correctly

  • Logged in the PV test tracker

  • Assigned to correct angles / creators / audiences

4. Creative & UGC Pipeline Ownership

  • Coordinate with Creative Strategist to:

    • Deliver angle maps

    • UGC briefs

    • Static concepts

    • Weekly variations

  • Manage UGC creators:

    • Deliverables

    • Asset tracking

    • Deadlines

    • Quality control

  • Maintain a UGC Content Tracking board.

5. Weekly PV Reporting

  • Create and send weekly PV reports using the internal reporting template.

  • Report includes:

    • Spend vs budget

    • Winner / Loser / Showed Promise breakdown

    • Key learnings

    • Next week’s test plan

    • Any tracking/compliance issues

  • Ensure report is sent to:

    • Partner

    • Director of Performance

    • Head of Partnerships

    • PV Media Buyer

    • Creative Strategist

6. SAP (Strategic Account Plan) Completion

The PV PM owns the SAP process.

They gather contributions from:

  • Media Buyer → performance summary, data insights, scale readiness

  • Creative Strategist → creative findings, winning angles, creative gaps

  • Director of Performance → recommendation for next steps

  • Head of Partnerships → commercial decision:

    • Scale to CPA partnership

    • Re-test

    • Decline

PV PM compiles the final SAP, ensures all sections are completed, and schedules the SAP Review Call.

7. Handoff to Scaling Team

  • If PV succeeds:

    • Prepare handoff package to Scaling Team (Director of Performance +

      Senior MBs)

    • Deliver all winning creatives, angles, learnings, audiences, and

      assets

  • If PV fails:

    • Provide partner with SAP roadmap for adjustments

Help head of partnerships with next steps

  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication; client-centric approach

  • Comfort navigating and optimizing remote tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana,

    Slack, Google Workspace)

  • Attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

  • Proactive problem-solving and escalation management

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing workflows (campaign setup,

    creative briefs, reporting)

  • Collaborative mindset with cross-functional coordination experience

Compensation

  • Total OTE: $45k- $47k

  • Base salary: $45k

  • Bonuses: Quarterly for hitting targets (retention & customer satisfaction)

  • Raise Eligibility: Hit ¾ quarterly targets

  • W2 or 1099

  • Full-Time

  • 18 Days PTO

You’re the type of person who loves collaborating and working within a team to drive towards a unified goal. You enjoy managing multiple projects at a time, like being challenged and can think on your feet.

You’ll succeed in this role if you:

  • Have 2+ years of experience in project management

  • Have worked in the marketing agency prior - preferred

  • Understand concepts like paid traffic, funnels, and performance marketing (you don’t need to run ads).

  • Have superior organization and communication skills

  • Able to manage deadlines with precision

  • Have experience managing projects in Monday, ClickUp, or Notion.

  • Are fluent in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides).
