X-Kart Academy 2027: Application
One programme. One pathway. One fully funded drive.
For 2027 the X-Kart Academy and the X-Kart Scholarship become one programme. 15 drivers, January to November 2027. The standout driver of the year becomes the X-Kart Scholarship driver and wins a fully funded Junior Rotax drive in The Kart Championship for the 2028 season.
Who it is for
Drivers born between 2013 and 2015 who are serious about moving from indoor or arrive and drive /club level karting into national racing.
What is included
Monthly: a team test day with X-Kart, a Driver Manager call covering personal branding, sponsorship and career progression, and a social media workshop covering following growth and your content plan.
Weekly: a remote PT session on Teams plus a daily workout plan.
Quarterly: a hands on mechanical workshop at our Rochdale workshop and a fitness assessment with our fitness partner GymBound.
On joining: your own X-Kart race suit.
How drivers are scored
Every driver starts with a baseline assessment and a bespoke development plan. Our coaches then score progress every month in four areas: driving (racing line, kart control, consistency), fitness (strength, conditioning, fatigue), social media (posting, views, engagement) and personal development. It is not just lap time. We are looking for the complete driver. New are not looking for a start driver now but someone willing to commit, learn and follow the guidance of our coaches.
Investment
£550 registration, including your X-Kart race suit, then £675 per month. Track fees and any crash damage you are responsible for on top
How selection works
Shortlisted drivers and their families will have a virtual interview with the team. 15 drivers will be confirmed in late December, ready to start in January 2027.
