Thank you for your interest in participating in the Rio Grande Valley Builders Association's Annual Fishing Tournament, taking place Friday and Saturday, June 5th and 6th at South Padre Island. Please carefully read and respond to all fields on this form to submit your registration for the Annual Fishing Tournament. Note that you must be a member to sponsor RGVBA events; please visit our membership sign-up page if you are interested in becoming a member of the RGVBA to take advantage of available sponsorships. Sponsorships and base entry fees do not include boat charter or captain fee. Please confirm your membership before purchasing sponsorships as we cannot guarantee refunds for purchases made on this page.

Each team can be comprised of up to 4 participants and each person must be registered. All participants must have a legal fishing license as required by Texas Parks and Wildlife.

A Redfish Sponsorship will give you two teams, a Trout or Flounder sponsorship will give you one team, and you will have the option to add additional teams in addition to your sponsorship teams.

Corporate sponsors do not have to be members of the RGVBA are permitted to fish in the RGVBA Fishing Tournament. All rules and regulations within this contract still apply to corporate sponsors.

Team Registration Only - $600 +

You must be a member or an approved corporate sponsor to select a sponsorship package, but your fishing team can be comprised of anyone. If you are selecting a package with multiple teams, you will be able to add those teams' information to this form. If you don't know who will compete in the other team(s) yet, you can email that information to [email protected] when you have their names. You must submit any team updates by Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026.

I understand that as a Sponsor, I must supply the following items to the RGVBA office by June 1st to have them included in promotional opportunities am checking off the item(s) that I intend to bring: *

Company swag for goody bags at my company's expense.

Door prize(s) for the Weigh-In.

This opportunity to bring company swag is only applicable for REDFISH, TROUT or FLOUNDER sponsors. Any registrant may bring door prizes as long as the minimum value of the door prize is $100.

Fishing Teams may be registered for $600 each, not including boat charter or captain fee. How many fishing teams will you be registering? This form can support up to 10 separate team registrations. If you want to register more than 10 teams, you must fill out an additional form. *

Calcutta participation is optional and $100 per category. Refer to the rules and regulations of the Annual Fishing Tournament for more information. Select the correct number of Calcutta categories to purchase for all participating teams.

General Terms and Agreement

By submitting this form, I confirm that I have read and carefully responded to each field as required by the RGVBA office. I have familiarized myself with the Annual Fishing Tournament Rules and Regulations and will adhere to them. I understand that if I have selected to pay via check, I will expect an invoice for my registration which I will pay in full by Wednesday, June 3rd. I understand that a member from each team that I register must attend the mandatory Captains Meeting on Friday, June 5th at 7 PM at Long Board Bar and Grille where Redfish and Trout sizes will be drawn. I understand that cancelations are not accepted, and that the office will not remit refunds for registrations due to cancelation. I understand that no refunds will be made for no-show teams / persons.

Liability Waiver and Release Agreement

Assumption of Risk
I understand that fishing, boating, and participating in the RGVBA/PWB Fishing Tournament involves inherent dangers, including but not limited to, changing weather conditions, water hazards, collision with other vessels, equipment failure, and personal injury or death. I voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with my participation, even if arising from the negligence of the organizers.

Release and Waiver of Liability
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, executors, and administrators, hereby forever release, waive, and hold harmless RGVBA/PWB Fishing Tournament, its directors, sponsors, volunteers, and agents ("Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for any injury, death, or property damage arising out of my participation in this tournament.

Compliance with Rules
I agree to comply with all tournament rules, regulations, and safety requirements, including the mandatory use of a U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device (PFD) when required. I certify that I am physically fit and capable of participating in this event.

Medical Treatment
I hereby authorize the tournament organizers to secure emergency medical treatment if necessary, and I agree to be solely responsible for all costs associated with such treatment.
