🚨 Step 1: Wash Your Car!
Before you move on to taking photos, please give your car a quick wash or rinse. Dirt and dust can easily hide hail damage or be mistaken for dents!
📸 Step 2: Grab Your Phone
Use your phone’s camera to take photos of the hail damage. We will walk you through exactly which shots to take—just ensure your photos are clear and the dents are easily visible.
For the best lighting, try one of these:
In the Shade: If it’s a bright, sunny day, pull the vehicle into the shadow of a building or a large tree canopy to stop harsh glare.
In a Garage: Indoors, long overhead fluorescent or LED tube lights are perfect. Look at the reflection of the light bulb on the car's body—the straight lines of the light will bend or warp right over a dent, making it instantly visible to your camera.
☀️ Important Step for Your Live Inspection Appointment:
On the day and time of your virtual inspection, please make sure your vehicle is not in direct
sunlight.
Please park the vehicle:
● In the shade, OR
● Inside a garage with the overhead lights turned ON.
This contrast makes it much easier for our digital cameras to map the damage accurately during the live call!
