Dive into a day of fun and laughter at Coolum Aqua Park! Participants will enjoy splashing, sliding, and bouncing their way through the inflatable water course while building confidence, teamwork, and resilience in a safe, supervised environment. This outing encourages physical activity, social connection, and confidence-building — all while having heaps of fun in the sun! Entry and lunch are included. Participants are welcome to bring towels, a change of clothes, and spending money for optional snacks or drinks. Pick up & drop off: Petrie Water Mill Meeting Point

Slips, trips, or falls on wet or uneven surfaces around the park or on inflatables

Strategies to Reduce Risk
Conduct a pre-departure safety briefing explaining rules, boundaries, and behaviour expectations
Maintain 1:1 or 1:2 supervision ratio based on participant needs
Ensure qualified lifeguards are present and staff maintain active supervision at all times
Check medical and swimming ability information for all participants before attending
Provide and ensure use of life jackets or flotation devices for all participants
Schedule regular hydration breaks and encourage rest in shaded areas
Ensure participants use sunscreen, hats, and appropriate swimwear
Carry first-aid kits, emergency contact details, and communication devices
Designate meeting points and buddy systems to prevent separation
Monitor for fatigue, overheating, or signs of distress
Check weather and park safety updates before and during the outing
Ensure food safety and allergy awareness for shared meals or snacks
