About the Role

Keri is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Developer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of Shopify websites for growing ecommerce businesses.

This role focuses on building and customizing Shopify storefronts, implementing design updates, supporting website revamps, and ensuring strong site performance and user experience. The developer will work on creating new pages, modifying themes, integrating apps, and translating design files into fully functional Shopify pages.

The ideal candidate is technically proficient, solutions-oriented, and comfortable collaborating with design and marketing teams to implement improvements, launch campaigns, and support ongoing ecommerce growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize Shopify websites and themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Build and implement new pages, sections, and features directly within Shopify
Lead or support Shopify website revamps, including redesign implementation and structural improvements
Translate UI designs (such as Figma files) into functional Shopify storefront pages
Implement storefront improvements, layouts, and design updates
Optimize website performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness
Manage Shopify apps, integrations, and third-party tools
Support product uploads, collections, and store configuration when needed
Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve bugs or display errors
Implement tracking scripts, analytics tools, and marketing pixels
Assist with conversion optimization improvements and UX updates
Maintain clean and organized code while following development best practices

What We Look For

2+ years of experience developing Shopify stores or ecommerce websites
Strong understanding of Shopify platform architecture and theme structure
Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience customizing Shopify themes and templates
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow development requirements
Comfortable collaborating with designers, marketers, and project managers

Nice to Have

Agency Experience (not important but nice to have)
Experience with Shopify Plus
Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices
Experience running or implementing A/B tests for ecommerce optimization
Experience integrating payment gateways, APIs, or custom apps
Knowledge of basic SEO best practices for ecommerce websites
Experience with page builders such as PageFly, Shogun, or similar tools
Experience working with Shopify apps and plugins such as Intelligems for A/B testing and store optimization
Experience translating UI designs from Figma into Shopify themes or components
Experience working with Git or version control systems

$8 - $10 per hour
