Preteen Summer Camp 2026 Camper Registration

We are so excited to have you join us for our 3rd Preteen Summer Camp! 


The camp will be June 1st-5th, 2026. We will begin camper check-in at Lakeview Methodist Conference Center on Monday, June 1st. We will end our time together on Friday, June 5th at 11:30am. 


This registration form will help us have all the needed information to prepare for an amazing camp. You will be asked to complete your payment at the end of this form. Early bird registration price is $400 until Februrary 1st. Regular registration cost will be $425 until registration closes Sunday, May 3rd at midnight. Registration includes all lodging and meals for the week, swag, and more.

Travel Information

If you plan to fly into camp, we ask that you fly in before 1pm on Monday, June 1st and fly out after 4pm on Friday, June 5th, if you need transportation from us. 

There will be a fee of $50 per person, per direction, shuttle fee to cover the gas back and forth. For example if you only need picked up from the airport, your total will be $50. However, if you need picked up and dropped off, your total will be $100. After registering, you will receive an email with information of how to sign up and pay for the shuttle. You must give us your flight information by Monday, May 18th to ensure your spot on the shuttle.

If you plan to drive your camper to camp, we will be at Lakeview Methodist Conference Center (400 Private Rd 6036, Palestine, TX 75801).

Check- In will begin at 4pm on Monday, June 1st. 

We will end our time together on Friday, June 5th at 11:30am.

In order to honor and respect the time of our staff and volunteers, parents MUST pick up their children by 1 pm on the final day of camp, Friday, June 5th. Failure to comply will result in a late fee being assessed.

The proposed activity provided by Messiah Texas requires participation in physical exercises which are, by their nature, physically demanding. Many of the activities will challenge you and cause surges in blood pressure and pulse rates. It is imperative that you are free of any heart related or other diseases. Therefore, all participants must be free of medical or physical conditions which might create undue risks to themselves or any others who depend on them. If there is any doubt about your ability to safely participate in this experience, you should have a physical examination.

Lakeview’s Standards of Conduct and General Policy Sheet:

General Policy Facilities Only registered guests may use Lakeview facilities which are scheduled and reserved by them or their group. There is NO SMOKING inside any building. $100 will be charged for each occurrence of smoking inside a building. Pets are not allowed on campus or in any building, structure, or vehicle. $100 will be charged for each occurrence of a pet on campus. However, guests in the RV park may have a pet which must be leashed at all times and restricted to the RV park area only. Guests are responsible for any and all damage to facilities and equipment checked out to and reserved for them. All furnishings and equipment must remain in their original place in their original building. Air conditioning and heating controls in the meeting rooms are to be adjusted under guidance of the Lakeview staff. Lakeview is NOT responsible for personal property of others including items lost, misplaced, destroyed, or stolen. Roads/Sidewalks/Parking No one is allowed to ride in the back of a pick-up or to hang out of moving vehicles. The speed limit on Lakeview roads is 20 mph. Vehicles are to remain parked except when required for essential use. Vehicles are to be driven and/or parked ONLY on established roads, driveways, and parking areas. Off-road vehicles including ATVs and golf carts not provided by Lakeview are prohibited. Skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, and scooters are prohibited. Dollies are available upon request for moving equipment from parking areas to buildings. Food Services All food arrangements are made through the Lakeview Office. Cafeteria serving lines will be closed 30 minutes after the posted beginning time for meals. Persons entering the cafeteria must be fully dressed including shoes. No credit is given for missed meals. Cooking is prohibited in the classrooms, meeting rooms, and lodging facilities (except where kitchen facilities are provided). Additional cooking equipment is not permitted in any facilities. Food and/or dishes are not to be taken from the cafeteria. Catered meals and other snack menu items are available upon request and are limited by availability. Special dietary needs will be considered according to the Food Service Director when requested in advance. Outdoor cooking is by approval only after requested in advance and subject to local burning bans. The Snack Shack can sell snacks, drinks, and other food items when requested in advance and subject to availability. Snacks, drinks, and other food items may not be sold on campus by guests or other vendors. General All children and youth must be supervised at all times by adult leadership. Bonfires/campfires are allowed only in designated areas. All persons must strictly adhere to the Standards Regarding Disorderly Conduct. All persons must observe the Boating, Swimming, and Fishing Policies and Guidelines. Available insurance coverage is outlined in a separate publication. Registration and Participation in Lakeview’s programs are the same for everyone without regard to race, color, age, sex, disability, national origin, or political belief. Policy exceptions may be considered for approval by the Executive Committee of Lakeview Methodist Conference Center Board of Directors on a case-by-case basis. approved 10-23-2015 Standards Regarding Conduct The general purposes of this code are to establish a system of prohibitions and correctional measures to deal with conduct that unjustifiably and inexcusably causes harm or threatens harm to those public interests which the Lakeview Methodist Conference Center, its Board of Directors, Administrator, and Employee Staff are obligated to protect. To this end the provisions of this code are intended, and shall be construed, to achieve the above objective. If a person commits an act under the following mental states: intentional, knowing, reckless, or with negligence, that person is responsible for his or her own conduct and for the conduct of others for whom he/she is responsible. The following offenses are included in this category: 1. Criminal mischief, reckless damage or destruction to property, structures, equipment, or vehicles, and theft (under $750.00). 2. Disorderly conduct or breach of the peace such as use of abusive, indecent, profane, or vulgar language or gestures; indecent exposure or public lewdness; or displays that tend to incite a breach of the peace; or creating by chemical or other means a noxious and unreasonable odor in a public place. 3. Possession or use of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances. 4. Possession of firearms, fireworks, illegal or prohibited knives, knuckles, clubs or instruments of any type that are specially designed, made, or adapted for the purpose of inflicting bodily injury. 5. Injury, reckless conduct, or terroristic threat that would indicate intent to do bodily harm to self or others. 6. Enticement or solicitation of a child. 7. Sexual harassment, either verbal or physical. 7.5. Violation of the Safe Sanctuary or Safe Camps Policy. 8. Other conduct that interrupts, disrupts, impedes, or otherwise interferes with a planned program. 9. The use of fire starter devices or pyrotechnics are prohibited unless used in organized programs which have been approved by Lakeview. In no case will open fires be allowed in or near structures or unprotected areas. 10. Cutting, breaking, or otherwise defacing trees, shrubs, or other native plants is prohibited unless part of a program of improvement approved by Lakeview. Code of Procedure For Disorderly Conduct Acting within the authority provided by its By-Laws, the Lakeview Methodist Conference Center establishes the following measures for violations of this code: I. Felony violations of the laws of this state, along with lesser offenses where the offender causes bodily injury to a person or destruction of property, will be reported to the law enforcement agency having jurisdiction of this area. II. Misdemeanor offenses or violations of Lakeview's General Policies may be reported to local law enforcement agencies. Correctional measures shall be imposed by Lakeview's Administrator (or in the administrator's absence, the Lakeview staff person in charge), the camp coordinator, and the director of the offender's group. These measures may in some cases require that the offender leave Lakeview Methodist Conference Center. III. The parents of a Camper shall be notified immediately by the Camper's Director and/or Coordinator in the presence of Lakeview's Administrator when any offense against or by a Camper is determined. THIS CODE WILL APPLY EQUALLY TO REGISTERED CAMPERS, GUESTS, VISITORS, VOLUNTEERS, STAFF, EMPLOYEES, AND ANY PERSON ON LAKEVIEW PROPERTY.
