This section will guide you through setting three real challenges in your work. One for young people aged 8-16; one for young adults aged 16-24 and for people not in employment education or training who would like to enter the world of work; and working adults who would like to develop their business or progress professionally. The challenge may be the same for all age groups or you may wish to have different challenges for different groups. We encourage you to think of challenges that are thought provoking. We will then break down the steps to help our learners to create a solution. Examples of challenges are given below.
Content Writer
Problem: It is becoming hard to attract clients to use our service because they think they can use AI (artificial intelligence) such as Chat GPT instead.
Challenge: Create a solution to explain to people the benefits of hiring a professional content writer instead of using AI (artificial intelligence).
Human Resources/Policymaker
Problem: There is a law that has been introduced called the Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act 2023 and we need to find a way to help business employers understand what it means for them and what employees who have a baby in neonatal care are experiencing.
Challenge: Create a solution to educate employers about neonatal care and the Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act 2023.
Researcher
Problem: I have been asked to find out what children/young people think about ways that young people can support older people (65+) in their community.
Challenge: Create a solution to get as many young people as possible to share their thoughts about how young people can support older people (65+) in their community.
