This agreement outlines the expectations for volunteers committed to providing support during Juneteenth NYC for Holiday Events. Volunteers are expected to fill four-hour timeslots and provide support in the following areas:
● Assisting vendors with unloading their vehicles and setting up tables, which includes table cloths, place settings, menus, flowers, programs, and bags. ● Cleaning up throughout the event; garbage, chairs, tables, and tents. ● Collecting giveaways from vendors. ● Table/Supply Management; Distributing paperwork for games, collecting game entries, and giving prizes.
In addition to these duties, volunteers may be asked to provide directional support at significant entrances to Prospect Park and relieve staff members when necessary. To ensure a successful fashion show setup experience, volunteers must assist with registration tables and other fashion show-related tasks as needed. The abovementioned expectations require a commitment from each volunteer throughout their assigned four-hour timeslot while demonstrating a professional level of customer service at all times during their shifts. Additionally, all volunteers must adhere to established safety protocols at Prospect Park. All participants involved in this agreement are expected to fulfill their responsibilities with professionalism and excellence for their assigned time slot.
