Clinical Internships
These roles focus on providing clinical experience and support to mental health services.
Who Applies: Students in Master's programs for Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Addictions, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Career Goals: Becoming a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or case manager. Becoming a licensed therapist or counsellor. Preparing for doctoral programs or careers in clinical psychology.
Case Management Internships
These roles involve supporting clients in accessing resources and navigating systems while learning critical case management skills.
Who Applies: Students pursuing degrees in Social Work (BSW or MSW), Human Services, Sociology, or Public Health. Undergraduate Psychology students seeking experience in direct client interaction.
Career Goals: Becoming a case manager or community resource specialist. Developing a foundation for roles in social work, counseling, or healthcare coordination.
Intake Specialist Internships
These positions focus on conducting client intakes and matching clients with appropriate services.
Who Applies: Undergraduate students in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work programs. Early-stage graduate students seeking to learn clinical workflows and assessment techniques.
Career Goals: Preparing for roles as intake coordinators or case managers. Gaining practical experience to support future clinical or administrative mental health careers.
Bachelor Clinical Internships
These positions emphasize psychoeducation and supportive counseling under supervision, rather than direct therapy.

Non-Therapy Related Internships

Interning at Court Counseling Institute offers students the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that supports mental health services while gaining hands-on experience in their chosen field.

Healthcare Operations Intern: Learn the ins and outs of running a mental health clinic, from scheduling to process optimization.
Compliance and Accreditation Intern: Gain experience with healthcare regulations and accreditation processes critical to running a compliant clinic.
Digital Marketing Intern: Develop campaigns to promote mental health services and improve community engagement.
Community Outreach Intern: Build partnerships with local organizations and support events that raise mental health awareness.
Clinical Research Intern: Contribute to studies evaluating the effectiveness of treatments and client satisfaction.
Data Analytics Intern: Analyze clinic performance metrics to inform business decisions.
HR Intern: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee wellness initiatives to support clinic staff and interns.

CCI Remote Internship Requirements
To ensure success in these remote internship roles, students must meet the following requirements and adhere to our guidelines:
Equipment Requirements: Interns must have access to a reliable desktop or laptop, tablet, and a stable internet connection to participate in the program effectively.
Tools and Platforms: Interns will use various third-party tools and platforms, including Zoom, Google Workspace (Docs, Hangouts, etc.), Dropbox, JotForm, and others, for collaboration and task management during their internship.
Network Access: Each intern will receive unique login credentials to access the organization’s systems and resources securely.
Security Measures: Interns will be briefed on essential security protocols, including identity protection, scam prevention, and data confidentiality, to ensure a safe and professional working environment.
Completion Deadlines: All assigned coursework, projects, and deliverables must be finalized by three days before the last day of the internship program.
