Join us for a refreshing day outdoors with our Hiking & Picnic Adventure! Participants will explore scenic walking trails, enjoy the beauty of nature, and share a relaxing picnic together. This outing is designed to encourage physical activity, social connection, and confidence-building in a calm, supportive outdoor environment. Lunch is included. Participants are welcome to bring hats, sunscreen, water, and optional snacks. Pick up & drop off: Petrie Water Mill Meeting Point
Risk Details
Slips, trips, or falls on uneven, rocky, or muddy trails

Conduct a pre-departure safety briefing outlining trail boundaries, group expectations, and safety rules
Maintain 1:1 or 1:2 staff-to-participant ratios depending on support needs
Ensure participants have sunscreen, hats, water, and appropriate footwear
Carry first-aid kits, emergency contact details, and communication devices
Supervise participants closely, particularly on uneven terrain or near water features
Provide rest breaks and shaded areas to prevent fatigue or overheating
