
Content Strategist Application
We’re looking for a creative, strategic thinker to join our team as a Content Strategist focused on short-form video for social media.
For this role you need to understand the psychology behind engaging or viral videos for various industries. This role starts part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position.
In this role, you’ll lead the ideation and development of compelling video concepts designed to grow our clients’ social media presence—boosting reach, engagement, and brand recognition. You’ll work closely with our production and social teams to ensure strategy aligns seamlessly with execution, while bringing a clear, data-informed creative vision to the table.
Every client is different, so you’ll need to be comfortable switching gears and creating content strategies that speak to different audiences and brand voices.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Writing out hooks, scripts, and shot lists for content shoots
Research and document top-performing content amongst various industries/niches
Brainstorming and developing creative video concepts for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
Working with our team to turn your ideas into real content — from pitch to production
Keeping an eye on trends, insights, and performance to guide what we create next
Shaping content strategies across different industries (think: food, services, products, experiences, and more)
Managing multiple projects at once and hitting key deadlines
We’d Love to Work With Someone Who:
Understand psychology behind top-performing content and viral videos
Proven experience developing social-first video content strategies
Deep understanding of how to drive engagement and growth on social media
Strong creative instincts with the ability to back ideas with strategy
An understanding of the key elements of viral videos and incorporate them into client strategies
Communicates ideas clearly and works well with a team
Is organized, flexible, and thrives in a fast-moving environment
Bonus: Understanding high converting ad content
Pay Structure: $17.50/hr part-time
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media, content strategy, or creative marketing
