You join SWG on Monday with several thousand pounds available for acquisition. You are not allowed to spend £1 until you understand the business. What are the first ten questions you want answered? *

Why are you unusually good at marketing? Don't give us adjectives. Give us evidence. *

Which area of marketing are you genuinely world-class or on your way to becoming world-class at? Which area are you currently weakest in? *

Give me an example of something significant you taught yourself without being instructed to learn it. *

What is the best marketing result you have personally produced? Tell me the business problem, starting position, your role, budget, strategy, execution, results and commercial impact. Include actual numbers wherever confidentiality permits. *

Tell me about the most sophisticated paid acquisition campaign you have personally managed. How much did you spend? How did you structure it? How did you test creatives? What were the key economics? What did you learn? *

Show us something you have built. Funnel, landing page, automation, campaign, email sequence, content system or similar. Tell me specifically what you did. *

Tell me about a marketing campaign that failed. When did you realise? Why did it fail? What did you change? What happened afterwards? *

Tell me about a time you disagreed with a Founder, CEO or senior leader about a marketing decision. What did you do? *

Why this opportunity, rather than a larger established company? *
