Looking for something fun and a little bit special to do these school holidays?

Join us at the Marching Forward Hub for our Girls Pamper Day — a relaxed, supportive day designed for girls to connect, make new friends and enjoy some well-deserved pampering!

Throughout the day, participants will enjoy a range of fun, feel-good activities including pampering, nails, hair, skincare, creative activities, music, games and plenty of time to chat and hang out together.

More than just a pamper day, it’s a welcoming space where girls can build social confidence, practise communication skills, make choices, develop independence and connect with like-minded peers — all while having plenty of fun.

Strategies to Reduce Risk

Ensure participant profiles, medical information, risk assessments, and consent forms are reviewed prior to attendance

Maintain appropriate staff-to-participant ratios based on individual support needs

Conduct safety briefings at the commencement of each session and before activities

Staff to supervise all cooking activities involving knives, appliances, or hot surfaces

Encourage regular hydration, sunscreen application, and sun-safe practices during outdoor activities

Provide clear behavioural expectations and structured support throughout the day

Identify and provide access to quiet or low-sensory areas if participants require breaks

Monitor participants continuously for signs of distress, fatigue, illness, injury, or dysregulation

Carry first aid equipment, emergency contact information, and communication devices at all times

Adapt activities where required to ensure participation is safe, inclusive, and appropriate to participant abilities

Establish clear boundaries, supervision zones, and check-in procedures throughout the program
