JLeaders Academy 2026 - 27 Fellow Application

The 2026–27 JLeaders Academy is a 6-month cohort-based leadership experience for Jewish young adults who want to become more intentional leaders—in their careers, communities, relationships, and lives.

Through immersive retreats, live learning, expert-led sessions, meaningful peer conversations, and Jewish wisdom, you'll explore the questions that shape authentic leadership: character, communication, responsibility, values, identity, and purpose. Along the way, you'll build lasting relationships with peers who are equally committed to personal and professional growth.

However you define and express your Jewish identity, you are welcome at JLeaders. We enthusiastically welcome applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives who are open to learning, reflection, and growth.

The application includes three sections:

  1. About You

  2. Your Interest in the Academy

The application deadline is October 2, 2026.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

What happens after you apply?

Every application is reviewed thoughtfully by the JLeaders Academy leadership team. Selected applicants will be invited to participate in an interview through September and the beginning of October 2026. The interview is an opportunity for us to get to know you better, learn more about your leadership journey and interest in the Academy, and for you to ask questions about the program.

Following the interviews, applicants will be notified of admission decisions. Accepted fellows will then receive information about tuition, onboarding, and preparing for the Academy kickoff. All information will be sent by October 16, 2026.

Why I'm Interested?

Judaism is multidimensional. It is sometimes described as a civilization, combining religion, culture, ethnicity, peoplehood, nationality, a value system and a way of life. Judaism embraces the totality of diverse Jewish beliefs and practices. However you define and express your Jewish identity, you are welcome in JLeaders. If you are not Jewish, please share your interest in being a part of a Jewish leadership program.

Retreat Housing Preference

Academy tuition (Early bird: $1000 before September 14; and Regular: $1180 after September 15) includes the full Academy experience, including two Shabbaton weekend retreats (housing, food & meeting center), and eight Zoom sessions. This tuition rate provides a sleeping room for 3 or 4 people at both retreats. Double and private rooms are available for an additional fee (to cover the added cost). Please request your first and second choice. Due to limitations of available sleeping room configurations, not all requests can be met, but we'll do our best to accommodate you. Tuition payment will be requested upon acceptance into the Academy.
