Payment Details

Please note that with the exception of funerals, a deposit is due no less than 60 days prior to the event to secure a date. All fees must be paid in full no less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event. Events that are not fully funded by the deadline will automatically be cancelled and fees will be refunded in accordance with the cancellation policy. Funeral fees are due no less than 72 hours before the day of the service.

Cancellation Policy 

A nominal $50 cancellation fee will be incurred if an event is cancelled. This will be deducted from the deposit at the time a refund is issued. 

Cancellation requests must be made in writing/email to: [email protected] The cancellation must come from the email address on the front of this document for the person making this application. 

Cancellations occurring less than 72 hours before the scheduled event will incur a cancellation fee equal to the total deposit. Other fees will be refunded. 

Refunds will be sent via check made payable to the person listed on this application at the listed address. 

Requests for Air Conditioning 

Our facility is not air conditioned. Air conditioning can be arranged for an additional fee. Sharon Church contracts with an outside vendor to provide an air conditioning unit capable of cooling the main auditorium only. 

The Sharon SDA Church reserves the right to not enter into a contract for any legal reason, including but not limited to: safety concerns, past breach of contract, events which violate the fundamental beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, events with an anticipated attendee population exceeding capacity limits set by the Fire Marshal, the inability of the church to provide adequate staffing, and events which conflict with the operation of church.
