Referral Agent Agreement

Effective Date: [Automatically Captured Upon Submission]

This Referral Agent Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between I am Keandra Ward powered by AC Tax Solutions (“Company”) and the individual completing this form (“Referral Agent”). By submitting this form, the Referral Agent acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Purpose

This Agreement outlines the terms under which the Referral Agent will refer potential clients (“Referred Clients”) for tax preparation or related services.

If this Referral Agent has been recruited, engaged, or managed by a Professional Tax Preparer (“Recruiting Preparer”) who is independently contracted with I am Keandra Ward Powered by AC Tax Solutions, the Referral Agent acknowledges that they are acting as an independent sub-referral agent of that Recruiting Preparer, and not as an agent, representative, or employee of I am Keandra Ward or AC Tax Solutions.

2. Referral Agent Responsibilities

The Referral Agent agrees to:

  • Promote the tax preparation services of their Recruiting Preparer or AC Tax Solutions partnered preparer using approved marketing materials.

  • Use their assigned affiliate or referral link when referring clients.

  • Ensure each Referred Client identifies the Referral Agent and/or Recruiting Preparer at the time of service.

3. Payment Terms

If engaged directly by I am Keandra Ward powered by AC Tax Solutions:
Referral compensation will be paid by I am Keandra Ward powered by AC Tax Solutions according to the following schedule once the referred client’s return is completed and funded:

  • Referral Fee: Tiered Referral Payout Structure

    • $50 per referral for 1–10 completed referrals

    • $75 per referral for 11–20 completed referrals

    • $100 per referral for 21+ completed referrals

  • Payments are processed Per Return via Sofi Account.

Independent Referral Relationship & Payment Responsibility

The Referral Agent acknowledges and agrees that although participation is within the I am Keandra Ward powered by AC Tax & Wealth Referral Program, they are independently engaged, managed, and assigned by the Recruiting Tax Preparer who enrolled them.

If engaged by a Recruiting Preparer:

  • All payments, commissions, bonuses, and compensation owed to the Referral Agent are the sole responsibility of the Recruiting Preparer.

  • AC Tax Solutions / AC Tax & Wealth/ I am Keandra Ward does not guarantee, issue, track, manage, or enforce any payments or compensation agreements between a Recruiting Preparer and a Referral Agent.

  • The Referral Agent understands that I am Keandra Ward powered by AC Tax Solutions is not a party to any private compensation agreement between the Referral Agent and the Recruiting Preparer.

  • Any disputes, claims, non-payment issues, or legal matters arising from compensation arrangements are strictly between the Referral Agent and the Recruiting Preparer.

  • The Referral Agent expressly releases AC Tax Solutions, AC Tax & Wealth, I am Keandra Ward its owners, officers, and affiliates from any liability, claims, damages, or legal actions related to compensation, commissions, or payment disputes.

By signing this agreement, the Referral Agent confirms their understanding that I am Keandra Ward powered by AC Tax Solutions is not financially or legally liable for any compensation matters involving Recruiting Preparers.

4. Conditions of Payment

Compensation is only earned for verified referrals that result in completed, funded returns.
No payment is due for unfunded, canceled, or incomplete returns.
AC Tax Solutions reserves the right to verify the completion and funding status of any return before authorizing payment (when I am Keandra Ward powered by AC Tax Solutions is the payor).

5. Independent Contractor Relationship

Referral Agents and Recruiting Preparers are independent contractors. This Agreement does not create any employment, joint venture, or partnership relationship with I am Keandra Ward powered by AC Tax Solutions.

6. Non-Exclusivity

This Agreement is non-exclusive. The Referral Agent may refer clients to other companies, and I am Keandra Wardpowered by AC Tax Solutions may work with other referral agents or preparers.

7. Confidentiality

Referral Agent agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding all client information, pricing, systems, and business operations. This obligation survives termination.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with written notice.
The Referral Agent will be entitled to compensation only for referrals completed and funded prior to the termination date.

9. Limitation of Liability

Referral Agent understands and agrees that I am Keandra Ward powered by AC Tax Solutions and its owners are not responsible or liable for any compensation disputes between a Recruiting Preparer and their sub-referral agents.
Any compensation arrangement made between those two parties is a private agreement.

Agreement Acknowledgment

By clicking “JOIN REFERRAL PROGRAM”, the Referral Agent:

  • Confirms they have read and understood this Agreement in full;

  • Acknowledges they are entering this Agreement voluntarily and independently;

  • Understands that clicking “Submit” serves as their digital acknowledgment and acceptance, carrying the same legal effect as a signed contract.
