Megan’s Law Acknowledgment
Volunteers are required to have a clean background check, which includes checking the California Megan’s Law database, to help support a safe environment for participants.
Megan’s Law is a California law that provides the public with access to information about certain registered sex offenders. This information can be viewed on the California Megan’s Law website: www.meganslaw.ca.gov.
I acknowledge that I have been informed about this resource and understand that I may review it if I choose.
I also consent to any required background checks as part of the volunteer application process.
