Limited cohort. Led by Wisdom Teacher Arthisre.

What if focus was a skill your child could train?

Your child is growing up in the most attention-fragmenting environment in human history. Screens, schedules, social pressure, and the quiet expectation that they perform — academically, athletically, socially — at every turn.

Underneath every challenge they face is one trainable capacity: focused attention.

The ability to settle the breath before a test. To hold concentration through a long homework session. To notice an emotion before reacting to it. To make a decision with steadiness instead of reactivity.

These aren't personality traits. They're skills — and Aha Dharana is the program that trains them.

What is Aha Dharana?

Aha Dharana is a specialized focus intensive program. It's drawn from dharana, the yogic discipline of concentration, and shaped around modern habit science.

This is not a yoga class. It's a focused cognitive-skills program for children who are ready to take their attention seriously.

If our Kids Yoga classes are general training, Aha Dharana is the specialist program — the way strength-and-conditioning differs from PE, or AMC prep differs from a regular math class.

How this differs from our Kids Yoga program?

What your child will train

Sustained attention — staying with one task without scattering. Useful for homework, exams, reading, music practice, or any moment that asks for presence.

Breath and emotional self-regulation — recognizing the body's signals and using the breath to settle before reacting. The single most portable life skill we teach.

Memory and recall — through guided concentration practices that strengthen retention.

Decision-making steadiness — the quiet confidence that comes from a child knowing how to gather themselves before they choose.

A daily ritual they own — not a habit imposed by parents, but a practice your child carries because they've felt the difference.

Program details

The Workshop Immersive training in concentration practices, breathwork, sensory awareness, and guided visualization. Small cohort, in person or Online. All materials included.

The 21-Day Ritual Each child leaves with a 10–15 minute daily practice — designed around their age, temperament, and goals. This is the part that turns the workshop into real change.

Integration Sessions — The same cohort returns three times during the 21 days to refine the practice, troubleshoot what's hard, and reinforce the habit while it forms.

Most workshops end at the door. Aha Dharana keeps going for a month beyond, because that's where the real change happens.

Why a 21-day arc matters

The workshop plant seeds. Twenty-one days of guided daily practice — with structured check-ins along the way — is what actually builds a habit.

Your child won't be left to figure it out alone. They'll be supported, tracked, and held accountable through the most fragile window of any new practice: the first three weeks.

This is the structure that separates Aha Dharana from every other workshop/ camp your child has ever attended.

Lineage and teachers

Aha Dharana is drawn from a curriculum refined over twelve years and thousands of youth in India, brought to California by UPF Cal. The practices are ancient. The format is built for the modern child.

Wisdom Teacher Arthisre

Arthisre is a certified Wisdom Teacher with more than 15 years of experience teaching children, trained directly under the guidance of GuruMahan. She has spent her career learning how children actually learn — what holds their attention, what calms them, what unlocks the steadiness underneath their energy.

She has also completed specialized training in neuro-fit teaching methods for children, deepening the cognitive-skills focus she brings to every cohort.

15 years of working with children in this tradition is rare anywhere in USA. In California, it's almost unheard of. Arthisre brings that depth into every cohort she leads.

Is your child ready for Aha Dharana?

Aha Dharana is a specialized program, and we want every child in the cohort to thrive. Most children ages 7+ with some prior experience in yoga, mindfulness, or focused movement are ready for the main cohort.

Your child is likely ready if they can:

  • Sit with a guided practice for 10+ minutes

  • Follow multi-step instructions in a small group

  • Express what they're feeling, even simply

  • Show curiosity about how their own mind and body work

  • Are entering a season — academic, athletic, or social — that asks more of their focus

Children newer to focused practice may benefit from more foundational work and are warmly invited to start with our ongoing Kids Yoga program and apply for a future Aha Dharana cohort.

How to enroll

We don't accept open registrations for Aha Dharana. Every family goes through a brief enrollment process — not as a barrier, but because we want to meet your child before we welcome them into the cohort.

Step 1 — Submit an enrollment inquiry. A short form, about 5 minutes.

Step 2 — Schedule a 15-minute conversation. A video call with our lead instructor. We'll meet your child, understand their goals, and confirm that Aha Dharana is the right next step.

Step 3 — Reserve your child's place. Once we've confirmed fit, you'll receive a secure link to complete enrollment.

Families already enrolled in our Kids & Teens Yoga program are pre-qualified for the Founding Family cohort and can skip Step 2 if they prefer.
