The Rio Grande Valley Builders Association (RGVBA) is a local home builders association that services Hidalgo & Starr Counties since 1968. The RGVBA is committed to promoting the homebuilding industry by offering continuing education workshops and other builder focused opportunities. The RGVBA believes in giving back to help the next generation of homebuilders access more resources and so they can help fill the trades gap that continues to challenge the growth of our region. These scholarships are to benefit not only the students but, the whole community by adding more jobs to help with construction delays and other economical stresses that increase home prices, making quality affordable housing unattainable.
Incomplete or late applications will be disqualified. The scholarship award will be disbursed upon providing proof of enrollment into any post-secondary institution.
