Art Inspiration Leaders
Thank you for your interest in our Art Inspiration Leader roles.
Dot Kids is a multi-award-winning organisation, dedicated to increasing wellbeing,
self-expression and confidence through the transformative power of art.
These are freelance positions, delivering our After School Art Club program for
primary school–aged children.
The sessions run for 30-32 weeks of the academic year, dependent on the school setting.
During these sessions, you will facilitate children’s creativity, self-expression, and confidence through art, using our Dot Kids session plans.
Locations
Sessions take place on school sites in Kent,
London, Essex, Sussex & Greater London.
Session details
Each session is one hour.
You will be responsible for safely dismissing
pupils to their parents/carers at the end of
each session
Payment is: £35 per session
Dot Kids session plans and training will be
provided
There maybe opportunities for additional
creative projects in 2026/2027
You will be someone who:
Is confident and comfortable working with primary
school–aged children
Can inspire creativity, self-expression, and
confidence in children
Aligns with the Dot Kids ethos of nurturing
confidence, individuality, and wellbeing through art
Ideally holds a current enhanced DBS
certificate (or is willing to apply for one)
Ideally has a driving licence and access to a
vehicle, due to varied locations.
Ideally has safe-guarding training or be willing to
train
Ideally has first aid training or be willing to train
Some positions are for an immediate start in
June/July 2026. Most are for a September
2026 start and others for January 2027.

Thank you for your interest in being part of the Dot Kids community.
Our After School Art Clubs run for 32 weeks of the year (during term-time).
Each club is no more than an hour long. Start time is dependent on the school's end time but typical times are 3:15pm-4:15pm.
You will be required to arrive at the school ten minutes before the session starts, and you will be responsible for safely dismissing the children at the end of the session to their families. (Parents and carers are generally prompt to time for collection, but if there is a rare delay, our art leader will be expected to make sure that the child is safe and looked after).
