Instructions
These are a perennial wildflower mix. Plant in spring, allowing seeds to establish before winter.
-Place in area with good sunlight, most thrive in full sun
-In well draining soil, loosen the soil about 2-3 inches deep. Wildflowers prefer not to be overly moist, and prefer poorer soil qualities, avoid compost or fertilizer.
-Mix seeds with sand or fine soil to ensure even distribution.
-Distribute seeds as evenly as possible, then gently rake the area to cover the seeds lightly with soil, no more than an 1/8 inch deep
-Gently pat down the area to press seeds into soil, ensuring good contact.
-After sowing, gently water the area, but thoroughly
-Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged until germination, which can take 1-3 weeks
-Once established wildflowers are generally low maintenance. Water them during prolonged dry periods
-Each wildflower varies as far as gemination time and attract a variety of pollinators and beneficial insects
