Get ready for a splashing day of fun at Wet’n’Wild! Participants will enjoy water slides, splash zones, wave pools, and interactive water play while building confidence, teamwork, and resilience in a safe, supervised environment.
This outing encourages physical activity, social connection, and confidence-building — all while having heaps of fun in the water! Entry and lunch are included. Participants are welcome to bring towels, a change of clothes, sunscreen, and optional spending money for snacks or treats. Pick up & drop off: Petrie Water Mill Meeting Point

Slips, trips, or falls on wet, uneven, or slippery surfaces

Strategies to Reduce Risk
Conduct a pre-departure safety briefing outlining water safety, group boundaries, and expected behaviour
Maintain 1:1 or 1:2 staff-to-participant ratios depending on support needs
Ensure participants have sunscreen, hats, water, and appropriate swimwear
Staff to carry first-aid kits, emergency contact details, and communication devices
Supervise participants closely, particularly in pools, wave areas, and on slides
Assign buddies or small groups to prevent separation
Monitor participants for fatigue, dehydration, or emotional distress
Follow all waterpark safety rules and ride restrictions for participants
Ensure food safety for meals and snacks, and check for allergies
Provide rest breaks and shaded areas as needed
Debrief after the outing to check for injuries or wellbeing concerns
