Welcome Food Vendors! The SCCA is excited that you are interested in being a food vendor at the 3rd Annual SCCA Triple Crown Cajun Championship, hosted by the Southern Cajun Cookoff Association (SCCA). Please read through the rules and regulations below before applying.
Application Information
1. Application form must be filled in completely. Once received, an SCCA representative will contact you.
2. Please read the terms and conditions and E-sign before submitting form.
Please note: This application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be notified if they are invited to participate at the festival.
SECTION 2 — VENDOR INFORMATION

SECTION 3 — SPACE SELECTION & ADD-ONS
Food Truck Space — $300 flat fee (includes 1 parking pass). No add-ons are offered for this event.
SECTION 4 — WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Schedule:
Foodie Setup: Saturday, November 14, 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM (vehicles off grounds by 10:00 AM)
- Gates Open: VIP 11:00 AM, Public 12:00 PM
- Public Serving: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Awards: 5:00 PM
- Event Ends: 6:00 PM, Afterparty until 2:00 AM (Sunday)
- Load-Out: carry out gear Saturday after cookoff; vehicle access resumes Sunday 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Parking: Each food truck comes with one parking pass. Additional public parking is available separately.
Vendor Must-Knows:
Improper disposal of oils, coals, litter, or grey water is a material breach and will result in loss of your space
- No subletting or sharing your space without written SCCA consent
- No "non-food" merchandise unless approved by SCCA
- Must comply with all fire, health, and local ordinances
- Must hold a current Harris County Health Department permit on-site
- SCCA controls space assignment and may modify the event layout; spaces are picked individually and application does not guarantee acceptance

SECTION 7 — FULL RULEBOOK
Conduct & Waste Disposal — violations below result in loss of assigned space and removal from the event site:
• Incorrectly disposing of any oils or coals (must be removed from the premises and disposed of safely by vendor).
• Leaving litter and/or food debris in and around booth.
• Contaminating a recycling or composting bin or dumpster with landfill trash.
• Disposing of grey water anywhere other than a grey water tank.
• Theft or deception whether through inventory manipulation, POS manipulation
These actions shall be considered a material breach in which case the vendor will lose the right to their assigned space and will be escorted off the event site.
SPACE ASSIGNMENTS
The SCCA has complete control of event diagrams and space assignment. The SCCA reserves the right to make modifications on event diagrams that are believed to be accurate but only warranted to be approximate. The SCCA reserves the right to assign space in such a manner as it deems appropriate.
ASSIGNMENT, SUBLETTING OF EVENT SPACE No vendor shall assign, sublet, or share the event space allotted without the knowledge and written consent of The SCCA. No products, parts, accessories, or other goods, souvenirs, catalogs, etc. bearing names or other forms of advertising other than that of the vendor may be displayed. No firm or organization not assigned an event space will be permitted to solicit business within the event areas. No “non-food” merchandize is to be sold unless approved by The SCCA.
ORDINANCES
Fire Regulations, health, and other applicable ordinances must be observed. It is solely the vendors’ responsibility to comply with all applicable fire, health, and other codes and ensure that they are observed. Vendor must also comply with all requirements imposed by The SCCA.
HEALTH PERMIT
All vendors must be in compliance with the Harris County Health Department special event requirements. All licenses and permits should be up to date and readily available.
SECTION 5 — WAIVER & AGREEMENT
In consideration for accepting this entry, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself and my organizational entity, my heirs, my team members, executors, and administrators, do hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless the SCCA Triple Crown Cajun Championship (the “Event”) along with their representatives, successors, employees, and volunteers for all claims arising from or during the event, including without limitation, all costs, liabilities, judgments, expenses, damages or reasonable attorney fees. I hereby grant full permission to The SCCA, and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, and any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
SECTION 6 — ORDER SUMMARY & PAYMENT
Food Truck Space — $300 (flat fee). No payment is collected with this application. If approved, SCCA will send an invoice for $300, due by October 24, 2026, 12:00 PM.

INSURANCE
Vendor must obtain, carry, and keep in full force and effect appropriate insurance, including but not limited to (a) general liability insurance with limits of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and $1,000,000.00 in the aggregate, (b) automobile liability coverage in the amount of $1,000,000.00 for owned or non-owned vehicles, and (c) either (i) workers compensation coverage or, (ii) if it has no coverage, then (1) proof of any waiver required by applicable law by each employee of Vendor regarding the absence of workers compensation coverage and (2) Vendor hereby agrees to indemnify The SCCA. Indemnified Parties for all liability to The SCCA Indemnified Parties arising from the absence of such coverage. All insurance policies must be issued by a qualified A-V
FORCE MAJEURE
The Festival will be held at an outdoor venue, and therefore the holding of the festival depends upon fair weather and appropriate governmental authorizations. Accordingly, The SCCA's obligations under this Agreement shall be excused by acts of God such as fires, storms, lightning, floods, confiscations, or restraints of governmental (civil or military), strikes or labor disputes, civil disturbances, or any other cause (including the threat of any of the foregoing), that is not within the reasonable control of The SCCA or not otherwise due to any negligence or willful misconduct of The SCCA (Each of the foregoing, a “Force Majeure Event”). In case of cancellation of the festival or unavailability of space at the festival sufficient for vendor’s purposes due to a Force Majeure Event prior to the festival beginning, the Vendor’s sole remedy will be to receive a refund from The SCCA of all amounts paid by Vendor to The SCCA as of the date the decision to cancel the festival is made or the date The SCCA notifies Vendor that space will not be available due to a Force Majeure Event (in either case, the “Determination Date”), in both cases less any expenses already incurred by The SCCA in preparation for the festival allocable to the booth assigned to Vendor, which The SCCA agrees to pay to Vendor within ten business days after the Determination Date. After the Festival has begun, any fees paid by or assessed against Vendor will not be reimbursed to Vendor, and Vendor assumes the risk of such fees if the Festival should be cancelled due to a Force Majeure Event during the Festival.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
If a vendor does not follow the Rules and Regulations set by The SCCA, this contract may be terminated. In the event of a default by the Vendor, the Vendor shall forfeit as liquidated damages the amount paid by the Vendor for the event space, regardless of whether or not The SCCA enters into a further lease for the event space involved.
