VIP Summer Camp Service Project - Make Summer Matter
Welcome to the VIP Summer Camp Service Project—a unique, sleep-away experience where summer becomes a time of real connection, growth, and giving back. This isn’t just another camp. It’s a journey of self-discovery, meaningful service, and fun with friends, all while making a lasting difference in our community.
Each week may look a little different, but every session follows the same rhythm of purpose and excitement. Volunteers are dropped off Monday morning and picked up Saturday at noon. Each day includes serving vulnerable communities—through field trips out or by welcoming organizations to camp. Campers will learn about and serve groups such as the homeless, children and adults with special needs, foster families, low-income families, animals, women’s shelters, hospitals, and programs supporting families with children in care, as well as environmental projects.
Campers will also enjoy guest speakers and engaging guest-led activities, which can include sports, cooking, yoga, therapeutic services, college prep workshops, stock and investment learning, makeup artistry, and etiquette courses. They will also receive CPR & First Aid Training Certification.
This year, we are excited to open our newly completed facilities—offering more space for our campers, an additional restroom, and greater comfort for everyone to enjoy, including our special guests visiting throughout the summer.
We are also excited to announce a new partnership with a professional training program that will provide our campers with a Leadership and Learning Course. This course is designed to strengthen their leadership skills, support their academic journey, and prepare them for future college applications. Representatives from the program will join us as special guests to guide campers through this enriching experience.
This program gives participants a chance to experience independence from home, taking on chores and responsibilities while building lifelong friendships. Though there’s meaningful work and service involved, we believe in providing fun ways to make a difference, ensuring our campers truly enjoy their experience while positively impacting many lives.
Campers can earn up to 100 community service hours during their stay. While it is not common to lose hours, failure to actively participate, show respect, or follow camp guidelines may result in a reduction of hours earned.
