A pre authorisation fee of $10 per person will be held as a deposit.
If a function is cancelled with 24hrs the $10 per person deposit will be forfeited. Please note peak function times ( i.e Christmas ) may warrant a stricter cancellation policy – please ask at the time of booking.
In order to maximise our areas we will require a commitment by the function organiser that a minimum spend requirement will be met if an area is privately booked.
Should the confirmed number of guests decrease or increase by 20% or more, Styx and Stone reserves the right to relocate the function to another area or open the area to the public.
We make every effort to provide spaces as reserved; however, in the event of significant changes in requirements or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to relocate areas appropriate to the number of guests. Any relocation will be in consultation with the customer.
The staff and management of Styx and Stone will always endeavour to ensure that a client’s property and belongings are protected however we offer no guarantee of this and will not accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property left at the venue prior to, during or after the function.
Decorations are welcome, nothing is to be fixed to walls or fixtures but no confetti please - a cleaning fee of $50 will be charged if confetti is used and the organiser may be liable for any damage caused.
You are very welcome to bring your own cake. We will provide you with utensils, plates, napkins, a knife & wooden board to serve. Our service fee is $30 per cake. Please make sure your left over cake is taken with you at the end of the function, it will not be kept.
