Essay

The Women’s Mastery Program is a professional development program for Women of Color at the Director level and above. The objectives of this program are to:

 

  • Help you to identify and manage any obstacles to realizing your full career potential

  • Encourage your commitment to the continual development of the skills necessary to sustain high performance and increase promotional opportunities

  • Build your confidence and increase the effectiveness of your effort as you continue to lead enterprise wide

  • Provide a forum for establishing a professional relationships and network of high-level like-minded women across business and industry that support your professional growth and development

  • Provide you with one-on-one coaching sessions with an external coach

Please prepare a brief essay, of no more than 500 words, that illustrates the following:

  • Describe the professional and personal benefits that you believe you will gain if selected to participate.

  • How you will manage your schedule to ensure you can be fully present for the program during this period.

Applicant

I understand that if selected for this program, participation does require formal face-to-face learning & travel for three 2-day live sessions, and several virtual program components including 6 Q&A Calls, 6 Mindset Calls, virtual orientation, graduation and 8 leadership development sessions. I will also participate in 9 hours of coaching sessions (45 minutes in length - one per month virtually) over the twelve-month period. I will schedule my coaching calls directly with my coach. During the program live sessions and development sessions, I agree to reorganize my responsibilities to effectively participate in the Program. Along with my direct manager I will work out the logistics of this arrangement with the key stakeholders involved.
