ZAA Young Professional of the Year Award - 2026

The ZAA Young Professional of the Year Award recognizes a Young Professional of the Year with the promise of a lifetime of achievement ahead who has demonstrated exceptional promise, leadership, and commitment to the mission and values of the Zoological Association of America. This award honors individuals making significant contributions to animal care, conservation, education, or organizational excellence and who exemplify the next generation of leaders within the zoological community.

Eligibility Criteria

Under the age of 40 years
Active involvement in zoos, aquariums, wildlife conservation, education, or related disciplines
Must be affiliated with a ZAA-accredited facility, member institution, or partner organization
Must be a ZAA- Member
