Group assignments are at the discretion of the NSDA coaching faculty. Acknowledgements

For Prep, Elite, & Elevate Teams: NSDA follows Forsyth County schools for most holiday breaks. If you attend another school system or private school, and the breaks are different from Forsyth County, please know that you will possibly need to be available for competitions, rehearsals, etc., during those times.

There are specific required rehearsal dates where all company dancers are required to attend, if scheduled. These dates are given at the Kick-Off Meeting.

All NSDA competition team parents and dancers recognize that they will need to be available to their team and their choreographers from Aug. through June. All competition team members recognize that being a part of this team is a time commitment.

Our season involves different heights of rehearsal, choreography, competitions, and conventions. This is a very important factor in understanding our expectation for attendance. Planning significant family trips during our busy time will impact the company. Please talk to us about any concerns you may have prior to auditioning. Communication is key!

All dancers wishing to be a part of NSDA’s Performing Companies are required to audition in person. All current members are required to audition in person. All company and tuition accounts are required to be current to audition.

All Company parents and dancers recognize that once the quantity of dances are chosen, adjustments to the quantity will not be granted unless it is initiated by the Director. You agree to take your time and choose the quantity of pieces that fits best for you and your dancer.

All Company parents and dancers recognize and agree to attend the measurement and Company kick-off meeting held in August. These meetings are mandatory meetings for all company dancers/parents.
