Volunteer Opportunities: There are many opportunities to volunteer at The Volland Store, please select your areas of interest (all that apply). Placement is not guaranteed.

Hosting Weekends at The Gallery (noon - 5pm): Greeting Guests, Answering Questions, Some Retail Sales

Tour Guide: Bird Watching, Prairie Flowers, History, Flint Hills, Cellars

Set Up for Community Events: tables, chairs, refreshments

Parking: directing traffic, assisting with handicap access

Admin: marking retail items, stuffing envelopes, hanging flyers

Volunteer Agreement *

Volunteer Agreement As a Volland Store volunteer, I understand that aside from being counted as a Volunteer on the Volland Store website, there will be no monetary compensation for my work. I understand that Volland Store volunteers are not employees of The Volland Store, LLC. I understand as a Volland Store volunteer I am not an agent of or authorized to transact business, enter into agreements, or otherwise make commitments on behalf of The Volland Store unless expressly authorized in writing by Abby Amick, Wrenn Pacheco or Patty Reece. I am aware of all inherent risks involved in being a volunteer at The Volland Store. To the extent permitted by the law, I release and hold harmless The Volland Store, its officers, agents and employees of and from any and all liability, damage, or claim of any nature whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to my volunteer work. I will be responsible for my own transportation to The Volland Store. I understand I may be photographed or videotaped during events and I grant The Volland Store a release for the use of such photos or tapes for promotional and other purposes. I certify that I am in good health and good physical condition. If not, I have made known any limitations on the volunteer application.
