Are you an English tutor looking to help more students succeed?

This is a unique opportunity to change the lives of hundreds of students through tutoring at JPW Academy

You would work with our team of expert teachers to help make our online learning Academy for GCSE English the most supportive and effective learning experience possible!

You will be responsible for marking students’ work and providing feedback, as well as answering their questions and holding 1-2-1 tutoring sessions.

We welcome applicants with tutoring experience!

Overall Responsibilities

● Mark and provide video feedback on one piece of homework per student per week;

● Answer students’ questions in live Zoom Q&A sessions at weekends;

● Hold 1-2-1 Zoom lessons with students to help them with specific questions;

● Update class registers with student marks and grades;

● Answer students’ academic questions via a course WhatsApp group;

● Answer students’ questions during Zoom webinar lessons in the chat box

Ultimately, we are looking for a motivated, coachable team player, who shares our vision and cares about student progress, and who is willing to learn in a supportive, nurturing environment.

Ideal Candidates

An ideal candidate would be an English student at a good university who achieved top grades in their own GCSEs, with some online tutoring experience!

Rates start at £20/hour for delivering sessions and £12/hour for marking, feedback, and answering questions.
