Welcome to Small Talk KC (STKC). By becoming a member or participating in our events, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1.1. Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals and businesses operating in or around the Kansas City metro area who share an interest in networking, education, and business growth.
1.2. Membership Fees: Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Payments are required in full before accessing member benefits.
1.3. Membership Cancellation: Members may cancel at any time by notifying STKC in writing. Cancellation does not entitle members to refunds for any unused portion of their membership.
1.4. Membership Benefits: STKC reserves the right to update or modify benefits at any time without prior notice.
2.1. Respectful Behavior: All members must treat others with respect during events, online interactions, and communications. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
2.2. Professionalism: Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner while representing themselves and their businesses.
2.3. Confidentiality: Members must respect the privacy and confidentiality of discussions within mastermind groups, workshops, and other exclusive events.
3.1. Attendance: Event participation may be limited to members in good standing. Some events may have additional fees, which will be clearly communicated.
3.2. Cancellations: STKC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances. Members will be notified promptly, and fees (if applicable) will be refunded or applied to future events.
3.3. Liability: STKC is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during events or activities.
4.1. Ownership: All content, materials, and resources provided by STKC are the property of STKC and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
4.2. Member Contributions: Any content shared by members during events or online may be used by STKC for promotional purposes unless the member explicitly requests otherwise.
5.1. No Guarantees: STKC does not guarantee specific outcomes or results from participation in its programs or events.
5.2. Third-Party Services: STKC is not responsible for the actions or outcomes of any third-party services recommended or promoted within the group.
5.3. Limitation of Liability: STKC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the group or its events.
STKC reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or through the STKC website.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes shall be resolved within its jurisdiction.
