Dance Company Parent Contract

As a parent/guardian of a Music In Motion Dance Company dancer, I understand that I am a full company team member. As such, I support the vision of teamwork, responsibility, and commitment to this team through regular attendance, positive attitude, consistent communication, and the values it works to instill in my student.

I promise to give 1 month written notice via email when my student plans to have a required absence from a rehearsal

I promise to practice appropriate personal/business boundaries when engaging in text messaging with groups and with the Directors regarding company communication and matters. Email ([email protected]) and Phone (directors Cell Phones during business hours only, exception competitions) or Studio 855-91-DANCE are preferred methods.

I promise the regular and consistent attendance of my students in technique classes at Music In Motion Dance Studio for both Fall/Spring and Summer seasons as dancers at this technical level engage in training year-round. I will call or email Music In Motion Dance Studio (OFFICE – not direct contact to teachers) to notify of any absences from class, whether planned or emergency.

I will pay in full all studio tuition installments on time and register my student for classes prior to August 1st of the Year

I will pay all Company fees on time.

I understand that the Music In Motion Dance Company is a 501c3 non-profit organization that raises money for the support of the art of dance as well as local charities yearly. I promise to engage in, chaperone, and fundraise as requested by the dance company
