Steve Johnson, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Steve Johnson is a pediatrician and child psychologist with a special interest in ADHD, anxiety, and child development. He earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Through his work at Direct Pediatrics, Dr. Johnson integrates evidence-based pediatrics with practical psychology to help children thrive at home and in the classroom. He is passionate about translating research and experience into clear, actionable strategies that empower parents and educators to support children with ADHD and executive functioning challenges.
