Review of Scope of Work and COI
I agree to following:
Description of Alteration: The Scope of Work submitted clearly describes the proposed alteration or improvement to my Unit.
Compliance with Building Rules: Agree to adhere to all building codes, local regulations, and condo association rules related to the alteration.
Permission and Approval: Acknowledge that all necessary approvals from the condo association or board are required before commencing work.
Responsibility for Costs: Accept responsibility for all costs associated with the alteration, including design, permits, materials, and labor.
Indemnity Clause: Agree to indemnify and hold harmless the condo association from any claims or damages arising from the alteration.
Restoration Requirement: Understand that any alterations must be restored to the original condition if required by the association upon move-out or if the alteration is deemed unsatisfactory.
Notification of Work Hours: Agree to conduct work during designated hours set by the condo association to minimize disruption to other residents.
Insurance Requirement: Provide proof of liability insurance to cover potential damages resulting from the alteration.
Subcontractor Approval: Agree that all subcontractors must also be approved by the condo association.
Compliance Inspection: Accept that the condo association may conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the approved alteration plan.
Damage Responsibility: Acknowledge responsibility for any damage caused to common areas during the alteration process.
Timeframe for Completion: Provide an estimated timeline for the start and completion of the alteration.
