We are so excited to see what magic you can bring to the beautiful Sacred Lands, ancient home of the Tocobaga tribe. Sacred Lands dedicates their space to honoring spiritual and creative traditions from around the world - and we are so happy they welcome us in, too! Let's help them stay sustainable and even GROW!

We are now accepting applications.

Performers selected by Oct 7th.

Preference will be given to:

- Acts that support the theme (Fall 2026: Pirates Seize the Night!)

- Group performances that make best use of the space (we have an upper and lower level)

- Dynamic, dramatic performances encouraged!

Please note:

We accept both fire and non-fire numbers, and love the process of creating an experience that showcases the variety of cultures from around the world.

This is a fundraiser for Sacred Lands! ...If you are accepted to perform in the show, there is a $25 per person donation we collect that goes directly to Sacred Lands for their support. In return, we are happy to gift you TWO recordings of your performance, one frontal view, and one beautifully edited and ready for your socials (please tag Hip Expressions, Sacred Lands, and Michelle Tripp). We also provide edited photos of your performance from our photographers. No guest comps; ask your supporters to purchase their tickets early because this show does sell out.

This is a community experience we are excited to share with you.

Experience the full magic, it includes:

- Dress rehearsal/staging rehearsal is the Sunday before the show... so we can get the whole show flowing magically… followed by a pre-show party for performers, volunteers and staff! Let's hang out and have fun!

- Day of the show, call time is 6pm, show at 8pm, and curtain call at the end of the show with a mini-dance party with the audience. Any rehearsals on stage must be completed by 5pm.

More Details...

- Day of the show, any stage rehearsals must be finished by 5pm

- Parking day of the show is a 2 block walk, plan on unloading and then moving your car so the parking lot is open for guests

- There is a backstage room for changing

- If you will be seen in public prior to the show in costume, please wear a cover-up to hide the magic of your presentation

- You are welcome to watch the show after you are done performing; help yourself to any open seats if there are any

- You provide your own fuel and props

- Length of act: solo (3-4 minutes) group (4-6 minutes). Exceptions upon approval.

- Please be specific in the description of your act, and provide a youtube video of your performance so we can see your costume, props, etc.

- Rehearsing on your own may occur both days (rehearsal day and show day) between 3-5pm, first come, first served. Highly recommended as it's a unique place to dance!

Team Members/Support Staff: We are always looking for more team members to be part of the magic! If you have anyone (not performing) who can commit to the rehearsal day and day of the show (especially if they can come early to set up) then please give us their contact info. They will be part of the pre-show party on Sunday, and get to see the show also for free!

Fire Safeties: Our fire safeties will be helping with the entire show flow, they too need to be at the dress rehearsal. Invite YOUR favorite proficient/trained fire safeties to be part of the magic! Or, have one in mind? We do Fire Safety Training, contact us about rates.
