Welcome to our Play Room! To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for all our guests, please adhere to the following rules and guidelines. Your cooperation helps us maintain a positive experience for everyone. Supervision and Safety Adult supervision is mandatory at all times for all children within the play area. Children must not be left unattended. For hygiene and safety, only socks are permitted in the play area. Please remove shoes before entering. Parents are required to wear socks in the play area at all times. The play area is specifically designed for children aged 0-7 years. While older siblings are welcome to assist younger children, rough play is strictly prohibited to ensure the safety of all participants, especially younger children. Games and other appropriate toys for children 7+ are available in the Toy Library to be enjoyed at the tables. If your child is experiencing symptoms of illness, we kindly request that you keep them home to prevent the spread of germs. Respectful Play and Conduct We encourage all guests to treat others with kindness and respect, both physically and emotionally. Please use gentle hands when interacting with toys and playmates. Similarly, gentle feet should be used while moving within the play area to prevent accidents and maintain a calm atmosphere. Doors should be closed gently to avoid startling others and to maintain a secure environment. Care of Equipment and Environment Guests are expected to use toys and play equipment responsibly. In the event of damage to any toys or play equipment due to misuse, guests will be charged for repair or replacement costs. We appreciate your help in maintaining a tidy play area. Please assist in cleaning up toys after use or before leaving. A designated “tasting bin” is provided for toys that have been placed in a child's mouth to ensure proper sanitation. Food and beverages are strictly prohibited within the play area. Please consume all food and drinks at the designated tables or in the cafe area. Please be mindful of your personal belongings and ensure they are kept secure. By entering Happy House Play Place, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these rules and accept responsibility for the supervision of your child(ren) and any damages incurred.
I am fully aware of the risks and hazards connected with the activities that may take place in this building, including but not limited to falls on or from the equipment, tripping, and collisions with the equipment or other participants. I understand that such activities involve the risk of injury and even death, and I voluntarily choose to participate in these activities, knowing they may be hazardous to me and my property. I acknowledge that Happy House Play Place LLC does not require me to participate in these activities and that I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage, or personal injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or any loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of engaging in these activities, whether caused by the negligence of releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent allowed by law. I understand that adult supervision of each child by that child's parent or authorized caregiver is required at all times. Happy House Play Place LLC shall not be liable for any injury resulting from the absence of adult supervision, including but not limited to any child leaving the property of Happy House Play Place LLC without a parent or caregiver. I understand that my completion of this waiver on the first visit authorizes Happy House Play Place LLC to use it as a continuous waiver for my child’s or children’s ongoing participation in the activities, or as a waiver executed for my other child or children. I expressly authorize Happy House Play Place LLC to use this waiver as a multi-use waiver until I request a change in writing. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorneys’ fees, that may occur due to my participation in said activities, whether caused by negligence of releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent allowed by law. Parent or Legal Guardian Certification and Consent I hereby certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant named below and have the authority to waive rights on behalf of the minor participant. I have read and understand all provisions of this document and the risks associated with the activities. I understand that the activities could cause injury or death and acknowledge that I am freely and voluntarily signing this document.
USE OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND/OR VIDEOS Happy House Play Place LLC May use any photography/video taken at Happy House Play Place LLC without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. Happy House Play Place LLC may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by Happy House Play Place LLC including but not limited to: invitations, magazines, newspapers, brochures, television, social media, websites, etc. A person attending a Happy House Play Place LLC event who does not wish to have their image recorded should make their wishes known to Happy House Play Place LLC, at 7038 Market St #100 Wilmington, NC 28411 By participating in Happy House Play Place LLC or by failing to notify Happy House Play Place LLC, in writing, your desire to not have your photograph used by Happy House Play Place LLC you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify Happy House Play Place LLC from any and all claims involving the use of your picture.
