Creating an Art Project Tips

Proportions

Ideal sizes of paper: 5" x 7", 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17"

Vertical and Horizontal will both work.

Colours

Try to use as many bold colours as you can as they print really well.

The best mediums to use are markers, paint or oil pastels.

Try not to leave any important details close to the edge of the paper as they may be cropped during printing.

Things to avoid

Try to avoid pencil crayons as they print out very faint and dull.

Please do not frame the art work.

Tips - How do I take good pictures of my artwork with my phone

For the background it is best to avoid anything busy or bright, try to use something neutral.

If possible use light from a window when it is cloudy outside. If that is not possible use a light source like a work lamp. If using a work lamp, place it two feet about the artwork at a 45-degree angle.

Try to get directly above or in front of the work. For the camera settings turn off the flash, that can create hotspots and glare on your artwork.
Use the back camera of your phone as it has a higher-solution back camera.
